    My reviews

    College Infrastructure

Currently, the college is being run from the temporary building in the town. The classrooms the well built and eye-catching.The classrooms are fully air conditioned and has projectors which help the teachers to show their presentations. The library contains all the books which are required for the respective courses and the laboratories contains all the required equipments related to the course.

    Academics

I have completed my BTech in CSE background as I have a keen interest in playing with codes and data .The faculty members are knowledgeable and always ready to help students. Most of the faculty members are either PhD or currently pursuing it .The course curriculum is updated and relevant and whatever is been taught will help the students in future.

    Placements

Currently, the placement is quite average or below average. Most of the students were placed through off-campus placement drive.Few local companies which have visited the campus for placement does not offer good packages.

    Value for Money

My course fee is 1.20 lakh per year but it increases per year. It is not the good value for money because the facilities provided are not upto the mark and also not according to the fees given.

    Campus Life

The college is running in three different buildings. It becomes little difficult for the students and faculty members also as they need to move around the campuses. There are lots of fest conducted in the college. Different kinds of seminars and competitions were also organised for the students so that they can show their talent .

    Others

Overall it is not a good college for studying as you'll not get the worth of money .

    Ok but difficult to manage.

    College Infrastructure

Amity ranchi has not a good campus but it's under construction. All the other facilities and equipments are available which include Air conditioned classroom , wifi, parking, smart class. It has no cafeteria.

    Academics

Teachers are good. You can even go in faculty room if you have any doubt. Course curriculum has 2-3extra papers which makes it lengthy. It makes us spend 9 to 5 in college and we don't get time for extra courses like CA , CS, CMA. weekends are holiday. You will also have a foreign language paper.

    Placements

Not more than 3 lacks. You must try to find other options . I don't know much about placement offers. But they say 100% placement is there. Don't rely on it moch. That's all I want to say. It is not so good

    Value for Money

34000 per sem. Is the fee. If you are not getting any good government college then only join.

    Campus Life

Currently we have three buildings at three places which is the worst part. If there is exam or event , we have to go to other campus. You will get a good and discipline as environment. Every week events are organised by different societies. You will get many opportunity to show your talent like in annual fest and sports event. And also Amity doesn't has ground of its own so for practicing also you need to use other grounds.

    Others

If you want to do a normal graduation and want to prepare for MBA then you can join Amity

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Amity college is established in 2016 so it has not so good infrastructure but hope to develop more in future. It has no wifi or smartboards. Laboratories are provided but not so good facilities. Living spaces are almost clean and hygienic.

    Academics

I am here to pursue Btech in cse because I love coding. Teachers are friendly only few of them are strict. But there are no experienced teachers. Only few of them have good knowledge. Study is only theoretical . No practical knowledge is provided. Labs are there but teachers do not focus on practical.

    Placements

Placement of our college is not so good . Only a few local companies vidit to our college at an average package of 14-15 lakh per annum. On campus placement is not so good here as it is newly established college. If you have quality then you have to fight for off campus placement.

    Value for Money

My course fees is 1.03 lakh per year . Its a good waste of money as there are not much facilities being provided to the students.

    Campus Life

75% Attendance in each subject is compulsory in order to appear in any test. There is no canteen for refreshment. College environment is ragging free. Seniors are also helpful and supportive. Locationbis safe and can handle any situation.

    Academics

All faculty are very knowledgeable. Also All books are Avilable on libraries and it open maximum of time. Library has peaceful and study environment is very nice here you feel relaxed while you study.

    Placements

Not very good placement in b. Tech civil but placement in other course is very good otherwise it is new college so it require some time to set up after that it's placement will be very good i will hope so.

    Value for Money

It is value for money because good quality of study. It is totally value for money because it gives a very good education to the students and college provide all necessary facilities and equiped with full air conditioning

    Campus Life

It has not yet own campus. But it hire their own land soon amity make their own campus because in amity kolkata it make campus within 8 month so it is sure that amity ranchi also make their own campus very soon

Hello, i want to ask about the honest review about btech in aerospace engineering at amity or mtech. Not the ones that are available on internet. I want a review by self experience pls help!!!!!!

    Hello Palak,

I don’t have personal experiences, but I can provide an honest review based on student feedback, faculty quality, placements, and industry exposure at Amity University for B.Tech/M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering .

    Pros:

    1. Decent Infrastructure – Well-equipped labs and research facilities for aerodynamics, propulsion, and materials.

    2. Good Faculty (Mixed Reviews) – Some experienced professors, but many are from general engineering backgrounds, not specialized in aerospace.

    3. Flexible Curriculum – Industry-oriented subjects and electives help in career development.

    4. Industry Tie-ups – Collaborations with ISRO, DRDO, and private aerospace companies like Boeing for projects.

      Cons:

    5. Placement Issues – Aerospace jobs are very limited . Most students switch to IT or general engineering roles due to fewer core job opportunities.

    6. High Fees (Rs. 3-4 LPA) – The return on investment (ROI) is low unless you secure an off-campus job.

    7. Lack of Hardcore Research – Not as strong as IITs or specialized institutes like IIST in terms of research in propulsion, avionics, or space tech .

    8. More Theoretical, Less Practical Exposure – You may need to do internships outside to gain hands-on experience.

      Verdict:
    • If you want to stay in India and work in aerospace , consider IIST, IITs, MIT Manipal, or UPES instead.

    • If you want a private university with decent exposure , Amity is fine , but you must plan for higher studies (M.Tech/MS abroad) or transition into software/IT for better opportunities.
