PACEMENT CRITERIA IN CIT:Placements in the college are good. Many good companies visit the college for placements. The college doesn't provide any training for the placements. In the year 2018, the highest salary package offered was 33.01 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Many top companies visited the college namely DE Shaw, Samsung, and Amazon, etc., to offer placements. Mass recruiters are TCS, CTS, Infosys, and Accenture also visit the campus. There is a placement cell which does nothing for the placements of students.

Based on the previous years cut offs you have scored a border rank which might get you a seat in the Madras institute of Technology for some branches. But this is not certain because the cut off varies every year due to various factors. Since you have not mentioned which category you belong to.So it is difficult for us to find whether which course will you get in CIT coimbatore.Hence I have attached the link of CIT rank details.There you can find your rank and you can compare it.

Only those students who have not been able to get a seat by TNEA regular counselling procedure would be eligible for TNEA supplementary counselling which will be held from 29th of July, 2019 (please visit official site). For the Supplementary counselling students need to apply in person at the concerned venue after which counselling round would begin with document verification. Students may have to pay a counselling fee if applicable ( Rs 500 for General and Rs 250 for SC/SCA/ST) or maybe not. Keep all documents ready to be verified. Hope this answer helps!

Dear aspirant

As you have not submitted your caste certificate so you will not get the benefit of reservation. But yes your you are still eligible for the counseling and you will be allocated seat under open category. Now, whether you will get seat or not entirely depends on your open category rank.

According to your TNEA general Rank and Community rank you will get seat in PSG college for courses like Textile Engineering,Bio technology,Robotics,civil engineering,Metallurgical Engineering,Automobile Engineering and so on.But courses like CSE,ECE,EEE is not possible to get seat.
