Sir my tnea cut off is189.5. Can i get a seat in anna university this year?

Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to. If it is general or BC, then the possibilities are very less when comparing the results of previous years. For oc and BC category, a score of something which is not less than 195 or above would remain a safe zone to fetch one a seat in the Anna university main campus. But, if you go e under SC or St reservation, then you can get the branches of your choice under Anna University. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats by which nothing can be predicted for sure. My MPC marks is 196.5 (OC) - What are the chances of getting IT in MIT please?

Since your cutoff is 196.50 in OC category and you are asking chances of getting in IT in MIT. Well my answer is YES, Because this year cutoff has been reduced slightly,and you have chances to get seat in MIT for Information Technology.

Yes. You can get into Anna University, Chennai with branches like CSE, ECE, IT and MIT with Aeronautical engineering, CSE, IT. Colleges like PSG college of engineering, Alagappa college of engineering, Anna University, Tiruchirapally; SSN Institute of technology are also possible.

Well you are asking for special reservation in ex-service men,if your father is still in army, you cannot choose the ex-servicemen category as during document verification, it will create a problem.

How many BC(community) seats in whole anna university colleges available for counselling for cs branch, can I fill one of that seat? Im 188

The number if BC seats cannot be exactly predicted. But, to procure a seat in the CSE branch of Anna University, one should have a cut off score of something which is not less than 198 in the BC category. The cut off's are always high as CSE is the most opted branch among candidates and obvious, the main campus is the top rated one. But, if you are asking for colleges which are affiliated to Anna university, yes, you can get a seat in CSE branch. Yet, it cannot be any college which comes under the top ten ranking list of Anna University. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. Hi, my daughter's score in pcmb in cbse is 87, 95, 84 and 92. Will she get an admission in psg tech for biomedical engineering?

Sir, your cutoff is calculated as follows:

(87/100)*50 + (95/100)*50 + (84/100)*100 = 175 cutoff out of 200.

Sorry sir, you dont have the chance for getting seat in PSG colloege.

PSG requires highest cutoff.

What is the rank list denoted by Tnea?

Hi Aspirant!

The TNEA rank list will be prepared considering the marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics after reducing them to a base of 200 (Physics + Chemistry = 100, Mathematics =100). There will be normalization process for equating the marks in different boards. There are 563 participating institutes of TNEA and top participating institutes are -
