cut off 190.5 mbc is it possible to get anna university

With a cut off of 190.5 in mbc category, you have chances of procuring a seat in Anna University, but it depends on the branch which you choose. That is, branches like CSE is not possible. My cutoff is 181 out of 200 and I belong to MBC category. Is there any chances of getting in Anna university or Psg tech in coimbatore.

With a cut off score of 181 in mbc category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the Anna university or PSG college, Coimbatore, when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a cut off of 190 or above remained to be a safe zone for obc category people. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats and with a cut off of 0.25 you would be pushed behind a lot of competitors. Sir, the cut off basis for 2019TNEA will it be for 200 or 100?

The Counselling of TNEA and seat allotment is entirely based on the 12th mark and calculated for 200 marks from the Mathematics, Science subjects.

You have not mentioned which category you belong to, which is an important deciding factor in TNEA. If it is BC then the following colleges are possible, when comparing the results of previous years.

Hindustan college of engineering and technology
Peri institute of technology

I got 172.5 cut off. In which college can I expect EEE or ECE

The cut offs for ECE and EEE branches in Anna University, Chennai are 194.5, 184 respectively. Your score is less compared to the cut offs declared in the previous years. Hence, Anna University, Chennai is not possible with the branch you desire for. But, Anna University, Tiruchirapally with ECE/EEE is open for your score
