Out of 400, 200 marks belong to the boarda nd the other to NATA. The only way to calculate your score is to divide the NATA score by 2 and add it to your board percentage.
Your board percentage is around 83% and NATA score is 101. Your score would be 50.5 + 83.5 which is 134.
The cut off for open category is 305-315. As you didn't score enough, you would most probably not be placed in the colleges you mentioned above

The cut off is calculated diving the your NATA score by 2 and adding it to your board percentage.
On doing the above mentioned proccess, your score would be 120. The cut off lies between 305-310 for open category. Hence, you might not get a seat there.

To enter Anna University through NATA, one should qualify the exam. Board marks are added to NATA marks. i.e 200 marks out of 400 belong to board and the other 200 belong to NATA. For BC, the cut off is around 310-320 upon 400 in the previous years.
He might not be able to get into Anna University with his score.

You can enter for Anna University through an exam called TNEA. Apply for TNEA. Score well and meet the eligibility criteria which are needed to enter the respective unversity. Attend the counselling sessions. Choose biotechnology as your branch in the colleges you desire for. The application for the exam is available online.

Anna University do accepts lateral entries, you need to first fill the application form for lateral entry, you can download the form from their official website. Then after filling the form you need to submit it and pay the application fee. Then after the merit list will be announced you need to attend the counseling with all your documents and choose colleges based on your merit.
