I got 101 in NATA 2019 and my board exam score is 503 out of 600.Is it possible to get seat in Anna university,MIT,NIT for b.arch in TN

Hello,

Out of 400, 200 marks belong to the boarda nd the other to NATA. The only way to calculate your score is to divide the NATA score by 2 and add it to your board percentage.

Your board percentage is around 83% and NATA score is 101. Your score would be 50.5 + 83.5 which is 134.

The cut off for open category is 305-315. As you didn't score enough, you would most probably not be placed in the colleges you mentioned above

I got 120 marks in nata and 60% in my board exams can I get seat in Anna University or jnafau

Hey,

As per marks criteria, 200 marks out of 400 belong to the board marks and the rest to NATA.

The cut off is calculated diving the your NATA score by 2 and adding it to your board percentage.

On doing the above mentioned proccess, your score would be 120. The cut off lies between 305-310 for open category. Hence, you might not get a seat there.

May I know the cut off marks in BC category for b. Arch course in Anna university...my son had scored 123 in Nata but in plus 2 he got 60

Hello,

To enter Anna University through NATA, one should qualify the exam. Board marks are added to NATA marks. i.e 200 marks out of 400 belong to board and the other 200 belong to NATA. For BC, the cut off is around 310-320 upon 400 in the previous years.

He might not be able to get into Anna University with his score.

How to apply for BTech-Biotechnology in Anna university?

Hello there,

You can enter for Anna University through an exam called TNEA. Apply for TNEA. Score well and meet the eligibility criteria which are needed to enter the respective unversity. Attend the counselling sessions. Choose biotechnology as your branch in the colleges you desire for. The application for the exam is available online.

Is examination of tnea is online? And what is date of examination of tnea?

First you should understand the fact that TNEA is not any examination. It stands for TamilNadu Engineering Admissions. It is an open window counseling by which students from Tamilnadu can participate and choose the colleges according to their ranking. This ranking is given based on the marks of board exams. Around 150 colleges which are affiliated to Anna university take part in it. But, there are certain eligibility criteria for applying to TNEA counseling and make sure you do fall under those. anna university for lateral entry students

Anna University do accepts lateral entries, you need to first fill the application form for lateral entry, you can download the form from their official website. Then after filling the form you need to submit it and pay the application fee. Then after the merit list will be announced you need to attend the counseling with all your documents and choose colleges based on your merit.

Hello sir , what are difference between anna university chennai and ceg guindy?

Anna university is one which has around 150 colleges affiliated to it. As the name itself says, the former is a university and the latter is a college. College of Engineering, Guindy comes under Anna University and remains to be the top colleges under this university. Affiliated colleges are subjected to the terms and conditioner given by Anna University while autonomous institution have their own criteria.

My cutoff is 173.5 will i get a seat in mepco college in cse branch?

You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a cut off score of 173.5, if you belong to general or obc category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in Mepco Schlenk engineering college, Sivakasi when comparing the results of previous years. To be in a safe zone, one should have a cut off of 192 and above to procure a seat there. Else, you can go for the managements quota.
