I am not sure about, which exam have you giben for which your marks are 181. But I am assuming that you have given TNEA as you are enquiring for MIT, Chennai.

I am sorry to tell you that your score will not make you eligible for admission into MIT, as the cut offs are bit high. You can always try for some other institutes.

The students are provided with the placements if they have good knowledge. The companies visited the campus are Caterpillar, Delphi, TVS, Renault, and Mahendra. These are the best placements available on the campus. Students got placed in Mahendra through SAE event Bajaj.he placement percentage in mechanical is about to be 40-50. Many implementations have been introduced to increase the placement percentile. Many suggestions have been taken from the alumni of the college and have introduced the techniques accordingly to the requirements of the core companies. Up to 100 companies come here to recruit the students for their companies. High packages are given to the students. Placement classes are arranged here for their practice model. GD and mock interviews are arranged here.

As per previous years counselling and cutoffs, the marks required for M.E. in CAD/Engineering Design/PDD in Anna University are above 38 normalised cutoff in TANCET 2018 for BC Category.

Hi hema, basis your rank and past year trends, you may exxpect to get through university of madras but not anna university. The latter had a cutoff of 44 last year. Other options for you:- Kumaraguru, SSN, thaigarajar and other top pvt colleges.
