The approximate fees structure for the self supporting course in anna univ is Rs. 25000 only tution fee and for an aided course it is Rs. 17800

This is for an engg. UG course and Around 21K for P.G course every semester.

• No. Of students
• Difficulty of the paper.
• Category rank
• All india rank

And the main thing is that there is no open method to calculate cut-off by us. It is upto the conducting body of the exam. So be patient and wait for that.

Congrats on scoring well in TANCET , 81 is a very good percentile hence you will have many good options so regarding Anna University and Madras University , yes you have good chance for admission . The cutoff usually depends on the number of seats available, number of candidates applying for the subject you opt for and the difficulty level of the exam. The official rank list will be released soon. The rank will be based on your semester marks and entrance score .

As you have not mentioned you caste, I would assume you belong to the general category. As the cut off for 2020 hasn't been released yet, i would be sating the cut off for the previous years for an idea.

So for MBA 2108

1. Coimbatore Institute of technology had it cut off for open category at 11.333
2. Anna University CEG had a cut off closed at 64.66 for open category

For ME/Mtech 2018 The students were divided into categories

Category A have marks between 60-74 For CEG, Anna University

Category B had 57-51 who had a chance in Coimbatore institute of Technology

No, mathematics plays an essential role in Engineering. 12th mathematics is the basics for Engineering mathematics. Engineering courses will look for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your higher secondary schooling. But you can pursue biotechnology engineering. But definitely there is no chance for computer science engineering, architecture, civil etc. First thing there is no chance for engineering without higher secondary mathematics. Secondly if you get a seat by influence or recommendation it will become a difficult job for you to keep up with the syllabus.
