see there is no upper age limit prescribed for engineering branches except marine engineering. for btech in marine engineering upper age limit is 25 years, so if you want to do btech in any other engineering stream there is no upper age limit. the basic eligibility criteria is candidate need to pass 10+2 course from a recognized university with 45% marks for general category, for reserved category it is 40%.

Anna University is situated in Chennai and it does provide an M.Sc. course in Medical Physics. It is  a two-year PG course with Rs. 82,000 total fees. for eligibility, you need to have passed B.Sc. Physics with Mathematics as one of your subjects or B.Sc. Applied Science. The admissions will be done on the basis of the candidate's scores in the Entrance Test which is conducted by the University itself and then, there will be a counselling session.

Anna University is for Tamil Nadu candidates and other state candidates join using open state category and the rank in that  category is very low and it is difficult to crack. There are different cutoff range for the different streams and branches.

Anna University offers BE, BTech and BArch courses at UG level.The University offers more than 15 specialisations in BE programme, 11 specialisation in BTech programmes.Candidates are selected in the BE/BTech programme on the basis of TNEA counselling whereas candidates are selected in the BArch course on the basis of NATA score.

The applications for Anna University 2020 will be available online. The exam to get into the University are Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ( TANCET ) & Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission ( TNEA ).

The application starts by the 1st week of May and last date of application will be somewhere in the last week of May tentatively.

For preparation of TANCET:

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is a two hour offline test carrying a total of 100 marks. The eligibility criteria for the MBA course is to have completed graduation from any recognized University in any discipline.

Make a study plan beforehand which you can follow and also refer these books for reference. Divide your time according to the syllabus and familiarise yourself with the material and the question-paper pattern. A time-bound practice is recommended. Revision is extremely important.
