Your caste and category plays an important role. If you would be from SC/ST/OBC you could have an advantage of reservation but if not chances are very low. As the cutoff is slightly higher in comparison to your marks. And you also belong to general category. So you can give a try.

Dear student, the income ceiling to waive tuition fee for TNEA 2019 for SC and ST reserved class students is that your parents must not have money income over rupees 2 lacs per annum in the previous financial year. You can also have your economic weaker class certificate if you wish to get any fees reimbursement

The rank range completely on the college so i can't say from my part. It depends on your rank. if your rank is in the range then they will give you an admission for sure. They haven't given any details for the rank cutoff even. So it's just like hit and trial.

Using GATE score you can take an admission at any college which accepts it. If you go for other state leaving your home state then that will go under open state. There is no cutoff in GATE. as the colleges take the Official GATE cutoff only. They just keep a range in ranks. As per the year this cutoff range changes. If your rank is within that rank range then you will get an admission for sure. A candidate having low rank than one will be given high preference.

AU has not specified any GATE exam cutoff. so if you have qualified the gate exam then you can sure take an admission in the university.

AU take students as per the GATE Cutoff for different categories. So you have a good score in the gate exam. so you have high chances to get an admission

College of engineering Guindy college accepts TNEA for Btech admission. TANCET for Mtech admission.  MSc is done with the TANCET score. No separate entrance is conducted. For MCA TANCET is considered.

GATE is a national level exam so it mostly accepted by every college. so some of the seats are filled through gate counselling also.

after gate through allottment list has published, then tancet through admission list will be published. and the seat allocation is totally depends on the college authority. there is nothing to do now. better search some other colleges where admission is done by tancet score.
