Dear student,

As you know bitsat is one of the most reputed national level examination organised by BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE for admission in undergraduate courses in the bits pilani, bits goa and bits Hyderabad.

So there is a very high competition in bitsat every y year.
Now coming to your score, then 211 score is not a good score in bitsat. With this much score your can not get any bits campus ( pilani / goa / Hyderabad).

Here is the last year (2019) cutoff score for bits all campuses to get a rough idea about the cutoff scores in 2020 :-

So with 211 score in bitsat 2020 you can not get any seat in any of the bits campus.
You have to score higher than 255 in 2020 or higher to get pilani campus as well as with minimum of 255 score in bitsat your chances will become very much alive for getting seats in other campuses.

But if you take or want to study b.pharm branch in bits then you can get bits pilani and bits Hyderabad very easily.
Because last year (2019) the cutoff score for b.pharm in bits pilani was 195 and for Hyderabad campus it was 161.
So if you want to take admission in bpharm then you can easily get in 2020.

Now as your score in bitsat 2020 is 210 and you want pharmacy branch, then congratulations you got your branch in bits.

The last year (2019) cutoff score for b.pharm in bits campuses were :-

BITS HYDERABAD CAMPUS - 161

BITA GOA - B.pharm is not taught here.


So, if you have secured 210 score in bitsat 2020 then you can get Bits pilani or bits Hyderabad very easily.

In 2020 the expected cutoff for b.pharm in bitsat for pilani campus can be around 205.
And for bits Hyderabad it can be around 171.

There are multiple branches of BITS such as BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad apart form BITS Pilani. You maybe able to get into Computer Science Engineering in one of those universities. But just to be on the safer side I would advise you to apply to other colleges as well for taking the courses of your choice.

I can't suggest you about the branch with which you should go for as it totally depends upon your interest. As of course you can't waste your four years studying something in which you are not at all interested. So, you should go with the branch in which you feel the most comfortable.

Now, talking about both the colleges then I guess placement of both the BITS are quite same. The highest package offered at bits pilani is 1.4cr per annum and average is about 10-15lpa.whereas, in BITS GOA the average is offered around 6-10lpa.

Both the colleges BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad are good their levels.

First thing that you need to do is comparison before making decisions. Like...

• Cutoff for the branch is: Goa>Hyderabad
• Number of intakes:  Goa>=Hyderabad
• Campus: BITS Hyderabad is more better than Goa because it is new one.
• Quality of education: same in both the colleges it all depends on the students(Hyderabad=Goa)
• Department: If you are interested in electronics or electrical core branches then go with BITS Hyderabad.   For mechanical go for Goa is good. If you want to go with CSE then go for Goa, even Hyderabad is also good for CSE.
• Culture: Goa campus's fests are pretty good than Hyderabad.
• Placements: Both the colleges have good placement offers for the students.

First of all a very big congratulations to you if you are getting bits goa or bits Hyderabad.

Now if you are confused between bits goa / Hyderabad and Vellore institute of technology, vellore, then obviously you should take bits goa.

The bits goa is the top college after bits pilnai among all the three campus of birla institute of technologya and science.
If you are confused between bits goa and bits Hyderabad, then certainly you must go for bits goa.
In bits campus all the toppers and rankers get admission and it's exam is comparable to jee advanced.

Vellore institute of technology is certainly no match for birla institute of technology and science.

If you are getting electrical and electronics or electrical and instrumentation engineering in bits goa, then take bits goa.

But if you are interested in cse branch then you can go with vit , vellore. Because if you have an interest iin any subject then you can succeed in in your particular field irrespective of college. Now if your dream subject is ece or eie then go with bits goa.

If you haven't decided that which Branch to take in btech then according to me go with bits goa electronics and instrumentation engineering, as this branch is more demanding and trending in India in comparison to cse.

As your daughter has scored 286 in bitsat then she can get easily bits pilani, bits goa, and bits Hyderabad.

In pilani campus she can get civil engineering,  chemical engineering and manufacturing engineering, as the previous year cutoff score for civil engineering, chemical engineering and manufacturing engineering ffor pilani campus was respectively : 269, 281 and 255.

In Goa campus she can get chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, as the previous year cutoff for chemical engineering and mechanical engineering for goa campus was respectively : 254 and 280.
