Sorry to inform you ... but with your given rank and with SC category, you have less chances to get BIT MESRA in any stream through JOSAA counselling .

As per 2020 cut off data, the min rank approved by this institute was 22872 in SC category for HS quota in Polymer and Plastic Engineering .

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that  both the universities are good for persuing msc physics , if you dont have any financial issue then you can go for bit mesra as it holds 85th rank in nirf ranking . And if you want to be economical then you can for NIT Surat integrated course ,as fees is less and if you go with phd then stipends are also very good

Yes you should. Because Electronics and Communication Engineering is a very important course, PES University is indeed a better choice. Starting with placements, it's assured and you can expect starting Package of 4-7 LPA. Great learning system, helpful Faculties, nice infrastructure, well equipped labs are few more characteristic of this course. Your academic and campus life both would be embraced.

Dear Student,

Not in BIT but also in any college you can change your branch but you will not be allowed to change your whole course.

As here you are talking about to change from Msc to B.tech so that would not possible. You can change your subject of your course after the 2nd year but can't change your course.

Or you can cancel your admission from Msc and then take admission in Btech course but here you also need to start from 1st year again.

CSE at the PES RR campus is regarded as one of the best engineering schools in the state (except NITK of course). The ECE department isn't far behind, and the EC and CS departments, as I've seen, are both very forward-thinking and have excellent faculty. when it comes to PES RR campus, it is one of the best engineering colleges in Karnataka, and it is quite old. However, PES EC is new and does not correspond to PES RR placements. The placements at PES RR campus, especially in the CS branch, are incredible, whereas the placements at PES EC campus are not. It all depends on your true passion, though you can always branch out into other fields later. Choose solely on the basis of your passion. Because both institutions are now part of the same university (PESU), the quality of education will be consistent.

BIT has a better brand name from the past than PES. And also CSE is far better than ECE in the aspects of placements and programming. But if you are interested in electrical engineering you may take up ECE. In my terms, I suggest you join CSE in BIT
