Hi.
If you have enrolled in an Engineering course, even Biomedical for instance it will require mathematics primarily. It will be a little difficult as you will have to learn the basics of calculus, vectors, probability etc. which are mostly required in engineering courses. However, do not give up and study with guidance of your professors.
Good Luck
It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category
However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced
But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly
For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp

Dear aspirant,

Hi,
Academics and Faculty :- BIT Mesra is ranked consistently among top engineering colleges in the country. This is the reason generally the crowd is good as top ranked students get into this. So one can find students from all over India with different talents and get to work with them. I feel students are the most significant push to BIT’s entry into the list of top engineering colleges. Now coming to faculties they are above at best. Some are very good but as they say “ Exceptions are not rules”. BIT is generally strict with attendance , exams and assignments. Academic load is more compared with other NIT’s and closely ranked colleges. One needs to be sincere in theory as well as lab to score a good GPA. I feel it is a good place if one wants to just study, learn ,work hard and then aim for something practical in one’s field. You will be disheartened If you expect Discovery channel level professors, cutting edge research and 100% core placements from here.
Campus and Infrastructure :- It’s beautiful and one can roam about freely and enjoy serenity in lap of nature. Coming to infrastructure hostel facilities are good , mess food is above average , classes and labs are being refurbished, 24*7 LAN connection etc are good. Also the campus is being refurbished where classes are being upgraded and campus is to be made wifi enabled fully. Now coming to the cons , there is severe electricity and water problem in the campus with water being the principal irritant in a student’s life at BIT. Also generator is not switched on every time light goes off which can be very exasperating. And because of the location obviously one cannot enjoy the amenities available in the city.
The Physics Department of BIT Mesra has developed in terms of both lab facilities and the quality of education provided. The professors are quite interacting and helpful. They are also great teachers. As far as placements are considered IMSc students are allowed to sit for the companies but most of them prefer to go for Phd., rather than going for a job in the IT sector. However, the placements are expected to be better this year. The physics department also provides plasma physics as a subject which is not available in all universities. A well developed plasma lab is also available for experiments. The electronics lab and the optics lab are exceptionally good. Summer research programs are also provided under the guidance of the faculties.

All the best!
Hi aspirant,
If fee is not a matter of concern so it also rules out ROI which is a primary factor in selecting colleges. In my view the only thing you should see now is where you can get maximum number of attractive packages and job opportunities. So following below is the order I would recommend you to prefer:
If it is Jadavpur University College then fine but if any other affiliated college push it down just above KIIT.
Hope it helps!!

NIT Surat is NIRF certified with a score of 47. There is no cafeteria in BIT. Both have same reviews and the companies coming for placement cells are similar. You can choose any college that is near to your residence if you prefer. Below is the link for you to compare your college with the branch to get your best fit. Hope this helps.
Dear aspirant,
I would recommend you to kindly go for bit Bangalore for cse/it if you are getting it because bit Bangalore is considered to be one of the top colleges through comedk.
In terms of placements bit Bangalore has strong placements in their cse/it branch whereas new horizon college of engineering is considered the lower tier colleges with lower cut offs. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, cognizant, tcs, wipro , infosys comes to the campus for recruitment. The average package in bit Bangalore for the cse branch is around 5-6L per annum.

Outstanding college The campus is well-maintained with decent classrooms, a library, sports facilities, and Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are average, but improvements in food and hygiene could enhance the experience.
The infrastructure of the college is very good every faculty member here is very much ready to help us out they have a very friendly nature and easy to access them. Almost everyone here is very crispy the college staff also is very helpful polite good nature
The university offers a friendly environment for study. Classrooms are digitalized. The library has approximately more thank 10,000 books, e-books, and IEEE subscriptions for us which helped me in my research work. The auditorium is highly equipped and I was handed my M.Tech degree there.
