To get admission into BIT Mesra ( Birla Institute of Technology -Mesra, Ranchi ), you need to get a decent rank in JEE Mains. For Computer Science, you should have preferably a rank within 10000 if you are from home state quota and 6000 rank for all India quota. For IT branch, a rank within 15000 should be sufficient. Both the branches have excellent placement opportunities.

Hi there hope you are doing really well. In this rank you can get branches like chemical engineering, biotechnology and civil engineering in BIT mesra if you are a resident of Jharkhand. If you are going to take admission to national Kota it is quite difficult for you to get a seat at this rank. Chances are less but yet possible so please try at least once. Hope this will help you good luck.

Congratulations for qualifying JEE mains examination but sorry you can't get admission in BIT mesra bye just scoring 91 percentile. even for lower branches like biotechnology u have to score near 95 percentile and that also if you are a resident of Jharkhand. true national Kota you must score more than 96 percentile to get admission in any of the branches in BIT mesra. Hi dear hope you are doing really well. VIT Mishra is a very prestigious college of engineering in the capital of Jharkhand Ranchi. you can get admission in this prestigious college by qualifying JEE mains examination. just qualifying is not enough to get admission in this examination you have to score much better n j e e mains as the cutoff for this college is even higher than many other colleges like many other NIT's. After JEE mains examination the counselling will be conducted by jossa through which you can get admission in b i t mesra. Hope this will help you good luck.

Yes Birla Institute of Technology is a good college and is consistently ranked among one of the best colleges in India. The facilities provided are good and there is no problem faced by the students. It is a great place if one wants to study,learn,work hard and aim higher in life. Infrastructure is great with all amenities for students like library, extra curriculum activities.

The placement and package is not so good, the average package comes out to 4 lacs per annum. The college is good, but the placement is average.

SP Jain has already closed its registrations and are doing their profile based shortlisting which requires a minimum of 85 percentile in both CAT and XAT and they have already released their dates for the first round of interview process. And for score based shortlisting it requires a minimum of 98-99 percentile in both the exams. But you can surely check out some other colleges like

These are also pretty good colleges and offer excellent placement opportunities.

With a percentile of 97.0569818, you might be able to get an All India rank of about 25,000. With this rank, even if you are of General Category, you will be able to get at least Electrical and Electronics Engineering  in BIT Mesra, in the second round of counselling if not the first. You can easily get Mechanical Engineering if you want.
