Your rank under general category will be around 17k.This is less than closing rank of BIT MESRA.Under EWS Category you can secure seats in core stream(CSE,ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL,CIVIL etc).For sureity wait till NTA declares rank.

Like every other candidate, a CSE student also have the edge of graduation stream.
Being from CSE, you have better understanding of the recent happenings in the field of IT, Science & Technology, IPR, Robotics, GS 3, Essay, CyberSpace/security/threat/.., and many more.. .
But you loose in having the choice of Optional subject.
Only stage that you will be tested on CSE is at the Interview, because only they know that you are from so and so branch.
The ones correcting you Mains or Prelims Answer sheets will never know what you had in graduation, from where, they only look in-to is the answer that you write.
you have to take different optional subjects as cse subjects are not available.See the list of other optional subjects available and choose the one which suits you the best.And there are subjects like Mathematics , Physics and chemisty too where you can expertise as you have a science background
Dont waste your energy on these thoughts, instead think on how can CSE better the present system
Lastly, one the best thing a CSE student has in this journey is the mindset

NCERT is best book for class 12 biology but other than that you can refer these books-
- Pradeep's Biology
- Modern abc of biology
- Trumen's Biology
- NCERT Exemplar Biology
- Exam Idea
It is important whatever book you use ,read it fully don't switch to other books frequently that will confuse you.

Hey. Taking into consideration the Lok Sabha elections the schedule for CLAT has been changed. The date of the CLAT exam has been changed from 12th May,2019 to May 26, 2019. For most of branches it is around 50000.
For CS/IT branch it is around AIR 12000.
For biotechnology it is around 50000.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is not upto the mark as it should be in Btech Colleges. The Buildings are once made and never looked back.Only Good thing is Library .BIT Patna offers modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a central library, Wi-Fi campus, hostels, and sports facilities, providing a good learning environment. Smooth process, helped me reflect on college life.
College Infrastructure
Birla institute of technology , mesra , boasts one of the most spacious and beautiful campuses in India , spread over 780 acres of greenry. The college infrastructure is well developed and caters to both academic and extra curricular activities. Classrooms are clean, well equiped and are aided with good modern facilities like projectors and smart boards. The library is massive and house thousands of books and digital resources from students of all streams. The institute has also great sports infrastructure that includes cricket, football and almost all indoor games including badminton , table tennis ,etc. The environment is peaceful and inspiring helping students to focus on their academics as well as personal growth. Hostel food and occasional maintanance is the only negative part that is dominant. Overall, BIT Mesra offers an ideal setting for a balanced college life with everything a student may need, right within the campus.

The infrastructure here is quite impressive. The classrooms are well-equipped, and while the labs have the basic tools you need. You'll find air-conditioned classrooms.The hostels are generally considered spacious and well-maintained, with daily cleaning, and each has its own dining hall. They also have night canteens, which is convenient. The college has a good library, fast Wi-Fi all over the campus, a medical center, and sports facilities. However, a few folks have suggested the cafeteria could use a facelift and that some washrooms might need better hygiene.
