Hello There ,

for getting civil engineering in dtu in st category , last year the cutoff for first round was about 30k and in the spot round it went to about 60 k , all mentioned ranks  are general ranks of common rank list .

So to be on the safe side you should get around 30k rank in the common rank list so that you might get your desired branch and desired college in delhi , in the first round itself . You can refer to the official JAC website for more information on the admissions .

Hello aspirant.

For securing the ews rank of 12112 in JEE mains you may get NIT in your home state but it is tough to get another state NITs, with that rank it is tougher to get CSE. However, you can use our JEE mains 2020 college predictor to predict colleges for your rank and category.

All the best!!!

Hey dear, if you are looking for m.tech from DTU than, you must have a good gate score. The faculty is extremely good for m.tech, classes and labs are strictly to be attended. As far as placements are concerned, good companies do come there but since you are a m.tech graduate, you have to be very intellectual, so placement rate is average over there.

Hello aspirant,

Hope you're doing well!

Yes, you can apply for the 85% quota in DTU, you need to have your 12th standard marksheet from a  recognized school from Delhi ( not even NCR).

Hope this helps you.

Going by previous years data, the chances of you securing a seat in various Colleges are as follows:

  • IIIT Delhi
  • NIT Delhi
  • DTU
  • NSIT
  • IGDTUW

So you can get in DTU with this rank. Now this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs depend on various factors such as total no .of seats available, difficulty of the exam, previous year cut offs, no.of Candidates appearing for the exam and no.of Candidates applying for a course.
