Engineering isn't only about academics. From an academic standpoint, RVCE does far better than many other colleges. RVCE beats DTU in many aspects whether it maybe Academics or placement or other facilities.

Even placements are pretty good in RVCE. Among the top institutions in Bangalore, RVCE is one of them. Many top MNCs come for recruitment and also recruit in mass. Internship opportunities are well provided also with conversion option. Maximum package was offered by Google with 60 lpa.

Hello,

It is not possible to predict the exact college or rank you will be getting as admission cutoff varies every year based on different factors.

You can calculate your rank using the formula - [100 - Your Percentile] x [Number of Candidates Appeared divided by 100]

For JEE Main 2020 January Session the Number of Candidates appeared was 935000, so by using the above formula your rank should be around 56000-57500

Seeing and Analyzing the past year cutoff, With this rank you have a probability of getting into core branches (Civil, Manufacturing, EEE) of some NITs  but not in DTU or NSIT

Hello Aspriant

If the marks obtained by you in UCEED are less than the minimum marks required, then you can't get admission in not only DTU but any of the govt colleges.

Therefore, I would recommend you to try for private colleges through direct admission or through their respective entrance exams.

Can you help us with your score out of 1000 in GATE exam Please? That is important for evaluating your chances. As cut offs change every year and depend on various factors. Alternatively, you can use our GATE predictor and predict the colleges that you may have a shot at: https://engineering.careers360.com/gate-college-predictor

Hello Aspirant.

As you've mentioned that you've scored 58.88 percentile in JEE main and Belong to SC category. Then due to the sc category quota there are chances of you to get admission in lower NITs. You can get admission in DTU, NSIT, IIITs but there might arise a situation where you won't be getting your desired branch if it's CS or IT.

Best of luck !

Hi Guru Harish

As per your score and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get  are:-

National Institute of Technology Rourkela--Metallurgical & Materials Engineering

National Institute of Technology Durgapur-- Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer

National Institute of Technology Calicut--Materials Science & Technology

National Institute of Technology Raipur --Machine Design

National Institute of Technology Patna-- Design Engineering

Hello Aspirant.

To get admission in Delhi Technical University in the most lower branch and considering you a general candidate from Delhi region then your percentile must be atleast 96.

If you're a candidate outside the delhi region then your percentile must be around 98.8 to get admission in Delhi Technical University.

Best of luck !

Hello Abhay,

Delhi Technological University (DTU) happens to be one of the country's most well-reputed higher education institutions, consisting of two schools and 12 departments that offer various postgraduate, undergraduate, and doctoral programmes in disciplines like technology, engineering, science and management.

As per previous years cut-offs data, the cut off rank for Computer Science Engineering for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section was 18,085 (Home State Quota) and 4093 (All India Quota) based on JEE Mains Scorecard. It was 9279 (Home State Quota) and 2755 (All India Quota) based on JAC Delhi.

Hope this helps you. We wish you the best for your future endeavours!

Hello,

Eligibility for DTU and NSIT Delhi is 60% aggregate marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Class. If you appear for CBSE Improvement Exam, then best marks from either of the marksheet will be considered for calculating eligibility.

For example, You appeared in Improvement Exam of 5 Subjects

You Scored 83 in Mathematics in your first attempt and in Improvement you scored 91, then the marks considered will be 91.

If you scored 87 in Physics in your first attempt and in improvement you scored 82, then the marks considered will be 87.

So in short, the best marks of each subject from both year will be considered while calculating your eligibility.

Hello.
Every year DTU cut off goes  low in comparison of NSIT, from the past year record you can expect your chances of getting into DTU if your rank lies under 4000 while it may extend to 1000 more for NSIT that means if you have rank under 5000 then you have good chances of getting into NSIT, as I am not considering any category quota and any branch so it is an expected data ,it may variate with some factors.
Best of luck.
