as per your percentile you may have score around 128-137 in jee main exam, and your over all general rank will be around 16776 - 18926, in dtu you may not get ece in first round of counselling, but there is decent chances in getting ece in next rounds as per previous years cutoff. as for thaper institute of technology you have fair chances.

The EWS certificate is issued based on the income limit set by the central government but state government can have there own eligibility criteria also. In second case the certificate issued will be valid only for state owned colleges and jobs.

So if Bihar government have their own eligibility criteria then you are not eligible to seek admission in DTU through EWS quota because DTU comes under state owned University.

First of all, You can calculate your overall rank using the formula

(100-your total percentile)X 869010/100

According to your percentile , your overall rank lies between 210000-310000.

The last year cut off for for SC category for DTU was

1. Mechanical Engineering -182416

2. Electrical Engineering  - 183654

3. Computer Engineering  - 77286

4. Information Technology - 100792

You can compute your rank from the below mentioned formula:

(100-percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the no. Of candidates appeared for Jan session exam.

Your rank will be around 11731

Suppose the no. of candidates goes upto 1200000 then just change 869010 to 1200000 and compute your rank. It will be around 16200.

Last year 4th round cutoff for CS in DTU was 8852 so the chances for you to make it to CS are less. I would suggest you to give April session exam or look for other colleges.
