I have 96.3 percentile dtu nsit iiitd with home state quota what chance i have

Hi Soham,

Based on your percentile, your rank would be around 40k to 42k in JEE Mains 2019.

By this rank, you can definitely get NSIT, Delhi by home state quota but you can only get the lower branches like Bio-tech and Manufacturing and Automation Engineering whose cutoff rank last year was 49962 and 40750 respectively.

You can also get DTU by home state quota in the branches of Biotech, Environmental, Production and Industrial, and Polymer Science Engineering.

But you will not be able to get any branch in IIIT Delhi because you need to get a rank below 20k even with home state quota.

My jee mains percentile was 72.7 I am from obc will i get PIE in DTU

You definitely get PIE in DTU with 72.7
Percentage, DTU, because of being a much older institute, is more well known as compared to NSIT. Thus,DTUis more popular in general. Both the colleges have a phenomenal campus but if we had to compare,DTUhas a larger campus as compared toNSIT. ... On the other hand, NSIT provides a betterchance of getting a good placement.

CSE and IT are the most sought after engineering branches and NITs are the top engineering colleges of the country. So the cut-off for CSE and IT in NITs is higher and given your rank you will not be able to get admission in any NIT for CSE or IT. You can't get seat in IIT through Jee main for that you have to clear Jee advance with good Rank .
You also can get DTU ece .

How much concession can I get in dtu for cse branch if I am delhi obc ncl also ews

Hello,

You cannot be in two categories at the same time. Either you have to be in OBC-NCL or EWS. EWS include those individuals from General category whose family income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs. Also concession depends on the economic status. All of the details that you submit require documents as proof.

By analyzing the last few years' closing ranks, it's predictable that with this much rank, you cannot take admission in Delhi Technological University.

can i get btech cse in dtu this year on behalf of 95.2% in jee mains

Hello aspirant!

Based on your rank I fear that you may not get cse in Dtu on the basis of your score in jee mains. You may other branches but competition for cse branch is way more than that for other branches. You can understand this by thinking of the fact that there are 5% students ahead of you and if suppose 1000000 students gave jee this year than there are 50000 students ahead of you. So you can yourself estimate that getting cse in Dtu may not be possible for you, you can opt for other branches. Dtu has some quota for Delhi students so you can try in that also, hope it could work.

My obc rank is 10838 can i get any Nsut and dtu .

Hi,
You scored good marks . These marks are enough for You to get admission in DTU and nsut in a good branch. If you have obc- NCL certificate from Delhi than it will be easier for you to grab a seat in a good college like dtu. You can get branches like CE, ME, MCE, EEE,PIE,PCT,EP,ENE, etc. Admission is done in 6 rounds of cutoff and one spot round in last to fill all the vacant seats. The same procedure is done for nsut also. You can apply for admission online at jac Delhi website by registering online and filling all your details there and then filling the courses in your choice filling. Jac is responsible for giving admission in colleges like dtu, nsut, iiitd and igdtuw. You can apply for all colleges by filling only one form. There are no other ways for admission so you have to fill the jac registration form before it ends. It's last date is 18th June.

I got 90.07%ile in jee mains and 91% in my CBSE boards, belongs to OBC(Ncl) I am from Bihar. will i able to get Computer science in DTU ?

you have secured good marks in jee mains and even in boards. But according to past records I don't think you will be able to get computer science . now it depends on the number of students appeared and the standard of the question paper this year. this will affect the cut off marks. you can get other branches like ece,me etc. all the best for the counselling.

The library is well furnished with accedmics and reference books and also available to students. Classroom are large and equipped with projects and WiFi and the labs are clean with the necessary equipment for pratical classes.
