DTU Delhi Q&A on Admission, Fee, Courses, Placements, Cutoff

Civil Engineers have a decent placement record and I believe anyone with a good percentage and decent communication skills can expect a package between 5-7 lakhs
As all the PSUs(most) have opted to recruit through GATE, the number of core companies visiting the campus have gone down. Still there are many private firms that visit the campus for recruitment.some of them which visited this year were SMS SIEMAG,ERA INFRA CONSTRUCTION, TURNER CONSTRUCTION, GODREJ,L&T.
so yes there have been few companies but then you have plethora of non technical companies visiting the campus which are open to all the branches. so you have ample opportunity of getting placed.
However If you are inclined towards technical field, better start preparing for GATE exams because that's your best chance of getting you a job. If you are looking for a non technical job make sure you have good communication skills and aptitude as the competition is fierce there

what, if i am not happy with my seat and there is chance for upgradation, will i have to submit 75000 rs in dtu?

this is to inform you that you can do it wait for the second round of counseliing .if you get a seat in the college you prefer in the second counselling then your fee from DTU will be transfeered to the college you got in the second round of counselling.all the very best for your future.

I have scored 87 marks... Would I get admission in nsit or dtu or iiit Delhi?

If you are a general category student then it is hard to get but you can get lower branch in nsit or dtu

Which is better civil dtu or ece igdtuw. my prefered branch is ece . But which one will be better because college is equally important

According to my experience as an Engineering student, it is your branch which is much more important in the long run and not the college. Both the colleges you mentioned are pretty good with some comparable differences but you will always have an edge in your career if you choose the right branch.

In DTU M.TECH list I got eligibility sect. with "Yes*",remarks "Branch in B.E./B.Tech needs to be varified" . What I have to do now?

By asking for verification, they mean to ask for validation of your bachelor's degree. Since you are opting for MTech course, your bachelor's degree needs to be verified.

Please enter your university or college and the degree details. You need to mention your roll number too.

College Infrastructure

The library is well furnished with accedmics and reference books and also available to students. Classroom are large and equipped with projects and WiFi and the labs are clean with the necessary equipment for pratical classes.
