ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello Aspirant,
According to the rank and category you have mentioned in the question you have no chances of getting in to either of the institutions as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-
Closing rank for DTU in 2019 was 11,157 for PCT and for NSUT it was 11,195 for BT for Outside Delhi candidates.
For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jac-delhi-merit-list
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges based upon your percentile and category :-

Good Luck!!
Hi aspirant!
DTU is a very good University, nice faculty, facilities. More than 70% of students got placed according to previous year statistics. The training and placement cell doesn't issue any exact data for us to review and prepare accordingly. Average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 8 LPA in electrical engineering. The highest salary package offered in the year 2018-19 was 1.02 crore, and the average salary package offered was 11.17 LPA. But salary packages depend on the course. The electrical department is not offered much high salary packages. The lowest salary package offered was around 5 LPA offered by mass recruiters. Internships are offered with a maximum stipend of about Rs. 25,000 per month - Rs. 30,000 per month. During COVID, companies don't often visit, though, mainly startups are willing to hire.

thank you!
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know how much you need to score out of 300.
Every year the score changes as the quality of students which appear in every shift is different.
But as per my calculations, you should score a minimum of 230-250 for nit Warangal ,surathkal or other parallel colleges.
Here is a link for college predictor-

Hey!
both are excellent colleges. you can choose which ever college you need. if you need ece then choose dtu. if you need cse then choose IGDTUW,
ece is all about electronics, instruments that is used by us daily and how communication systems work. this is a great course. you have chances of working at Qualcomm, Airtel, SanDisk, TI, Texas, Samsung, ARM, Nvidia, Freescale and many other core electronics companies.
while cse is all about softwares, programming, coding, how softwares are built, how to build one etc. the companies you can work are intel, microsoft, google, and many other companies.
i hope it helps

Hello aspirant,
You asked if you apply in dtu with sc quota you may get a seat or not.
Now, see,
Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering)is one of the best technological universities in India. You told that your father is in bsf. So, yes, you are eligible for the defence quota. As you are sc too you may also apply sc quota. As with defence+ sc quota you didn't get a seat, you will not get a seat probably with using only sc quota also. Still you may try.
All the best !!
