Hello Aspirant  , hope you are doing good.

So firstly, congratulations for securing a seat in DTU in EE branch, it's amazing. Now , if you are not satisfied with this branch and want an upgradation to another branch like ECE , CSE or any other branch, then you might fill the names of those branches for the next rounds. Although it's not certain that you will get an upgradation because it totally depends on seat availability and no. Of students attending the counseling.

Hope this helps you. Good luck !!

Hi Aspirant,

DTU or Delhi Technology University and NSUT or Netaji Subhash Technology University, Delhi are state-funded technology institutions located in the state of Delhi. Both institutions were formerly affiliated with the University of Delhi, but both institutions were later converted to their respective universities and were granted autonomous status.

Comparing the two institutes is going to be a tough thing, as the competition is very strong for both institutes. The number of brilliant students earned by both colleges is rising year on year.

Infrastructure:

  • DTU has a much stronger infrastructure than NSIT. It has AC classrooms, and the campus is even larger than NSUT.

Faculty:

  • The faculty at both colleges is great. I'm going to say it depends from branch to branch. The most important thing to note in a college is the atmosphere it provides. As far as my research is concerned, both colleges provide a wonderful atmosphere in terms of clubs and extra-curricular activities.
  • You can learn a lot of things even though you're not in the branch. There are many education related clubs which definitely enhance your personality and education.

Placements:

  • The highest DTU package for the 2019-20 session was 1.02 crore, with almost all of the students sitting for the placement being placed. The average package was 11.7 lakh.
  • For NSUT, the highest package was 1.42 crores, and here, too, all the students who sat for the placement were put. The average package here was 7.75 lakhs per year.

Now, talking on which one is better is very hard to tell because both institutes excel in their efficiency as students. But I personally think that the DTU is better than NSUT in terms of placements and opportunities. But the final choice is yours.

All the best.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that DTU does not disclose any fixed cutoff for the students to get admission into their BBA programme. However a good percentage would be 80 or 85 above to have decent chances of getting admission in DTU.

I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.

Dear student,

You will be given seat only based on your category allotment. If there is still unfilled vacancy from other categories, there is only a slight chance that it may get reallocated to other category students during the next round of counselling.

Hello Umesh , From some research on internet I found that BBA from DTU is better than any college of IPU because DTU is government college so the value of its degree is more that IPU and DTU has 85% reservation of Delhi students and 15% for other than Delhi students.

Hope it will be helpful for you :)

Hi Aspirant!

The college can be compared on the facilities and placements.According to NIRF ranking we consider its facilities and exposure. The NIRF ranking of NIT Rourkela is 16, NIT Warangal 19, NIT Calicut 23,DTU 36.

As you have interest in Computer Science/Coding then in this case college does not matter as in this field only your skills matter. But the better college on NIRF ranking can provide you best/more opportunities to explore.

Now on the basis on placements the average package of NIT Rourkela is 15.18LPA,NIT Warangal 13.3LPA,NIT Calicut 8 LPA,DTU has 16LPA.

Hence on the basis of Placements DTU is best.I still recommend you to go for NIT Rourkela because it provides you more opportunities than DTU.

I hope it helps.

Happy Hustling!
