Hello aspirant. Your score is very low for getting admissions in nsit. You can get state engineering college like Rajasthan engineering and many more states engineering colleges. You can predict your college by clicking on the link below

Dear student,

If you have given JEE mains and got a good rank when you can easily get DTU or NSUT Delhi but the admission in these two institutes are not done on the basis of josaa counselling.
For that you must have to attend a separate counselling called - JAC counselling Delhi.
The jac Board of Delhi holds the counselling for giving admission in these institutes on the basis of your JEE mains rank. Also it is advisable that you first check the cutoff trend of previous years for these institutes as per your JEE mains rank and then participate in JAC counselling Delhi.

Also check out our JEE mains college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea of the colleges that you can get on the basis of your JEE mains rank :-

Hi, according to your rank most probably your All India rank will lie in rank range of about in between 50K-60K  and on this rank can get into DTU but it seems that you cannot get your desired branch i.e. CSE but it is possible that you can get core branch in the University. But if you only want to get CSE than I suggest you to search for another college but I also suggest you that you should at least try for once to get into DTU with CSE branch as what goes on trying as noting is harm in that. Right!

Good Luck.

Hello aspirant

Cut off in Delhi university colleges is very high. For hons coursed it is too high. For BA economics hons cut off goes upto 98- 99% in colleges like Hansraj college, Hindu college, gargi college etc. Being ews category candidate you may try. As cut off changes every year and depends upon number of candidates appeared , availability of seats, previous year's cut off etc

Expected cut off 2020 Hindu college for BA economics hons for general category is 93.75- 97.62

For EWS 94-97

Hence it is difficult to get seat for BA economics hons.

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have no chances of getting into either NSIT or DTU as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-

  • NSIT - 25880 (closing rank for OBC category outside Delhi)
  • DTU - 26724 (closing rank for OBC category outside Delhi)

For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors, so to get an idea we can use last year's cut-offs.

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges  based upon your percentile and category :-

Hii there,

Dear candidate, the BBA admission in DTU cost around 1 lakh per year which is a 3 year course.

The eligibility criteria for BBA admission is a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 along with English as one of the main subjects. 45% of this for OBC-NCL candidates.

There is no date officially provided by DTU for counselling process. The last announcement made was for extending the last date for Online registration and was made to 7th Aug, 2020.

Hi there,

Firstly your percetile score is too low if you belong to general category, hence you won't get all these college.

Secondly you can give jee mains 6 times that is 2 times in a year and for consecutive 3 years . Therefore your two attempts are left.

But you can't give the boards improvement for the second time if you can't score more than 75% in your improvement then you don't have any options left, if next year the government stops this 75% eligibility again then you should score more than 96+ percetile to get into your aspired college other wise there are other options as well.

You can check that using our college predictor tool

Hello Aspirant,

Your percentile is very low and you are also from outside the Delhi region so according to the previous year trend and based on previous year college opening and closing rank data it is very very difficult to get seat in DTU. But at this percentile you can go for state counselling or gfti's here you can get seat.

To predict the college based on your percentile you can go through the given link:-

Dear Aspirant,

You may face some difficulty in getting admission in DTU at a rank of 53K in your category as DTU generally has very high cutoffs as per the previous year statistics. So if you are to take my opinion you should focus your attention to some good private college like SRM,Amity,LPU, Chandigarh University, etc.Hope your query is solved.Best of luck.
