Best innovation and research-driven university of Uttar Pradesh
The campus layout includes two separate buildings that are quite far from each other. While the infrastructure is well-maintained, the distance between departments can be inconvenient and disrupt the flow of daily activities. Improvements are must required for the campus.
The MBA program covers important subjects and gives a good basic understanding. However, it could benefit from updates to better match current industry practices. Adding more recent case studies and practical examples could make the coursework more relevant.
The placement rate is satisfactory, but there’s a noticeable gap in package offerings. B.Tech graduates often receive higher packages, whereas MBA and BBA graduates tend to get similar levels of compensation. To improve outcomes, the placement cell could focus on creating more targeted opportunities for MBA students.
As a domicile of Uttarakhand, I benefited from reduced fees compared to out-of-state students. Even with this discount, I felt the fees were still relatively high for the MBA program. The overall value for money might not be as strong as expected.
Campus life is active and engaging with various events and a supportive community. Despite the inconvenience of the building separation, the campus environment was lively and inclusive. The staff faculty are also very supportive to help us.
I feel like enhancing industry partnerships, career services, and student support could significantly improve the overall experience.
The college has good infrastructure and facilities like library, e-library, playground, basketball court, badminton court, and a special room for indoor games with good environment. Great quality of facilities available in the hostel as well as good quality of food in mess and canteen.
Teachers are very helpful and well qualified from reputed colleges and have great knowledge. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that students can gain all the skills and qualifications needed to get ready for the industry or corporate life.
Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Adobe, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Informatica, Zscaler, Cognizant, Siemens, and many more. To be true, there has been a really great record of placements of students of the MBA in reputed companies.
The fees of my course MBA is around ₹6.15lacs.
5/5 for campus life.
Learn new skills, get industry exposure.
Infrastructure of GEHU, Dehradun is appreciable. With a single massive building of about 7 floors, 7-8 CS/IT labs, electrical and mechanical workshops and well maintained washrooms. The library and sitting areas with superfast wi-fi facility is quite good. The main auditorium is not huge but very well designed. Cleanliness is everywhere inside the campus. Special lecture halls are also there which are quite big in size. However, the disappointing part of the campus is its area. It is quite small and since the number of students are huge therefore the environment is quite dense. Now here comes the major drawback, the University sports ground. All the major sports and games are held in Graphic Era Deemed to University because Graphic Era Hill University courts and sports ground are of low quality. Only a single basketball court and a small park sized ground with grass touching your shins. And since the University is small and densely populated you can't enjoy much.
Low quality academics. The most important reason being - Inferior faculties and students. Most of the faculties they have are graduated either from unknown universities or are students pursuing Masters, specially when it comes to non-engineering courses. Students here are of inferior quality. They know nothing and likes to show off as if they are the one. No one talks about innovation and ideas. Repetitive projects, tasks and copied assignments are our routine. Only a few of them are intelligent and they work in silence unlike the other sheep. Moreover there is no system in University. They force us to do some irrelevant courses, maintain 75% attendance and wants to take credit for the projects you worked hard for. To be honest everyone here thinks they are the one but they aren't. They won't help you much in this area. But some of the senior engineering faculties are really masterminds. Specially the ones who are taking care of placements as well. They are qualified from IITs, NITs and are full of knowledge. The problem with them is their busy schedule.
I passed out from GEHU, Dehradun in 2024. I believe they will give you enough opportunities to get placed. The placement season starts with the beginning of your final year and lasts until your completion of the course. An average student would get placed if they work hard. However there three big cons- 1. The average package is around 4 - 4.5 lpa. 2. If you get placed in any company, you are out of placement drive and can only try in a company that offers a package of 3 lpa higher than your current lpa. 3. Mandatory bonds the company brings with them while recruiting.
Here is the major concern - The University wants to squeeze the money out of you at all cost. I literally used to curse myself while informing about my fee bill. About 90,000/ semester when I have a scholarship of around 50,000 + 1,25,000/year of hostel (if you take hostel) that's a whole lot of robbery. Take around 10,000 of your unnecessary spends on project files, assignments and other stuffs that college forces. Graphic LootERA Hill University should be it's name and the what's the average package 4 lpa. C'mon !!
I will keep this short. Campus as I already said is small and densely populated. So you don't have much to explore inside the campus. It hardly takes an hour by walk. The environment is quite crowdy but you will find peace at some places. Chill at the cafeteria (if you find seat) or at library. However one good thing is Graphic Era Deemed University is quite near, you can enjoy that campus as well.
The infrastructure for our course and hostel is not very good when compared to others. Sports ground is not well maintained, library assistants are good but sometimes we also feel shortage of books in mid of the semester. Lifts are there in the campus but some of them are still under construction. Hostel services are there for the students. The quality of food was decent.
All the faculty are very supportive and provide their best guidance to help us in our studies, and work really hard for students to learn new things. We get to attend career seminars, so I can't say that the faculty are bad because they are the best and help you get a job. Curriculum and exams are disgusting. Limited seats are available for BTech CSE branch.
This University is quite good in placements, Courses offered, Internship programs and many more. But in some courses like BBA, MBA they didn't provide internship. Top recruiting companies for our college include Adobe, Infosys, Byju's, Informatica, Square Yards visit our campus and offer a good package. In my batch 75% of students get placed, and placement cell help us a lot in placement drives.
My fees of whole course was ₹12 lacs.
Students can engage in various co curricular activities like dancing, singing, sports etc.
Nothing.
The infrastructure of my university is pretty decent; it could be better. And I hope that if there were more trees on campus talking about Wi-fi, there would be no Wi-fi connections for students. We can use the Wi-fi or Ethernet only when we are in labs and that is for study purpose only. Proper hygiene is maintained in mess and in canteen. The quality was decent.
All the faculty are very helpful, provide their best guidance to help us in our studies, and work really hard for students. We get to attend career seminars, so I can't say that the faculty are bad because they are the best and help you get a job. Course get difficult with each passing semester, as it is common in every university.
This University is quite good in placements, Courses offered, Internship programs and many more. Above-average placement in mechanical engineering are offered. Almost everyone who is eligible gets the placement offer. However, the packages are not so big; the maximum is 10 LPA and the average is 5 to 6 LPA.
Yes it provides value for money.
Excellent.
Nothing.
The infrastructure for our course and hostel is not very good when compared to others. Teachers are good, but labs are not that good. Sports infrastructure is not proper; no ground is available because the number of students is much higher as compared to the capacity of college. All the basic necessities are there in the college. Food in hostels and in mess is hygienic.
Faculty members are good but curriculum & exams system are very disgusting. Course get difficult with each passing semester. Faculty members are less supportive and some of them do not complete the syllabus.
Top recruiting companies for our college include Adobe, Infosys, Byju's, Informatica, Square Yards, etc. One thing I disliked about the college is that they didn't provide any internship opportunities for students. A college guarantees 100 percent placement. And that 100 percent of students include those who have a CGPA of 7.5 or above and have zero backlogs.
My course fees was 3.1 lacs.
Enjoy penny moment of this part of your life. Campus life was excellent Make new friends, participate in activities, interact with teachers.
Nothing else.
The college provides a Wi-Fi chamber, labs, fully air-conditioned classrooms, library, canteen, transport facilities, medical facility, hostels and many more. The quality of food was good in canteen as well as in mess. Our campus support various sports like basketball, volleyball, hockey, tennis and many more. The classes gets cleaned on regular basis and during the work hours too.
Faculties are very supportive and familiar in nature so that we could ask anything regarding to our course. Many of them are experienced and qualified. As they all have the ground knowledge of their subjects. If I talk about the course curriculum the semester exams are more challenging. Some drawbacks of our faculties is that most of them knows how to teach and rest of them don't know how to teach.
Top recruiting companies for our college include Adobe, Infosys, Byju's, Informatica, Square Yards, etc. The placements are fair enough, and the department put in many efforts for students to get placed in organisations. But nowadays, as we see a recession in the market, it is affecting all the colleges so there are not many placements this year.
My fees of total course is ₹5 lacs. Yes our college provides the best value for money. As I'm getting more experienced regarding industries which makes makes my money's worth.
I called it my second home.
No
The Graphic Era Hill University was established in 2011 and was located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This college provides the basic facilities of auditorium, cafeteria, library, ac classes, seminar halls, labs, medical facility, transport facilities, hostels for both men and women, and if I talk about the quality of food which was served in hostel mess or in cafeteria was excellent, and proper hygiene is maintained while cooking and serving the food. WiFi is available throughout the whole campus. Even if someone need a pg near college, those are also available near the college. In all parameters the college is the best investment for a student.
I pursued my BBA from Graphic Era Hill University, and the quality was worth. All the faculties are well experienced and qualified in their subjects. Semester exams at our college are challenging yet fair, assessing students' understanding and application of the course material within acceptable limits.
Top recruiting companies for our college include Adobe, Infosys, Byju's, Informatica, Square Yards, etc. The placements are fair enough, and the department put in many efforts for students to get placed in organisations. One of the best thing about the course curriculum is that they provide a paid pre placement training which made placement interviews more easier, and they make sure that 90% of the students get placed from their college.
When I was in college my fees was around 4.5lacs of a course. Every year fees were increased by some percentage. Yes investing money in this college is a good choice.
Excellent campus life. Most of the faculties are supportive in nature.
5/5 on everything
it has an incredible infrastructure with four campuses in total including two in dehradun, one in bhimtal and one in haldwani. the university stands out for its well-maintained buildings. the two dehradun campus includes graphic era deemed to be and graphic era hill university. both the campuses are well organized, the hill university is having two buildings where each department is neatly divided by floors. the classrooms are spacious and well-kept.
the academics are excellent. the faculty members are highly supportive, understanding and always ready to help students. they use modern technology to enhance learning. each classroom is quipped with projector making lecture more understandable, engaging and interactive.
the university guarantees placements but it also depend on your performance. if you dont put in efforts and study hard, you cant expect the university to provide you any placement ot internship. this year many well-known companies visited for placemets with higher packages.
the fees is average and for this price student receive many great facilities. the campus has spacious classroom that provide comfortable learning environment. there is also a huge parking area, which is convenient for students and visitors.
college life is fantastic with variety of events and festivals organised throughout the year. the vibrant college life ensures that students have plenty of opportunities to participate and enjoyable and engaging activities making their university experience both fun and memorable.
The infrastructure is good. There are some problems faced in terms of the wifi connection but all around the infrastructure is very well. Being a football player, I feel the sports facilities are also well maintained in the college.
Pursuing degree after gaining knowledge from the best and such experienced faculties makes graphic the best place to get admitted. The college is very updated in terms of curriculum and technology which enhances the teaching learning process.
There is at times outstanding and at times average placements in the university. The amount of salary offered ranges on the skills of the students registered. However, the placement process is very pleasant for the students.
My course is expensive in terms of money but I find it a good return process ones I'll get placed. The offered amount by the companies is high so the students can earn the amount of money spent on the degree very easily.
The campus life is worth experiencing. Finding a good company and then enjoying the campus life make another best part of the life of graphians. Also the location around is very good to visit in every terms.
