As you know that NIT Jaipur is better than IIIT Kancheepuram but the branch you get in nit Jaipur is not so good so according to my view and placement statics you can go for iiit Kancheepuram with mechanical branch.

In last I want to say that go for that branch which you would like or choose branch according to your interest.

Although IIIT Jabalpur has a larger campus and infrastructure, IIIT Kancheepuram being located near IT and Industrial Hubs at Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad provide better impetus to training and placements. Last season in CSE there were more than 85% placements with companies like TVS  L&T Infotech, Infosys, Amazon, TCS Digital, Cognizant, Accenture, Honeywell being top recruiters. Secondly being near Top National Institutes like IIT Madras , IISc Bangalore and NIT Trichy, further provides good mentorship and research potential to the institute and in long time might just help you in bagging internship or project opportunities.

Naveenv495 , For ECE IIIT Jabalpur is better because it is good in terms of placement, academics and all and fees is also approx. same for both colleges but in terms of infrastructure IIIT kancheepuram is better.

About 80% of the students get placed The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, while the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA

though highest package offered is from iiit kanchepuram..

you should choose jabalpur as security is higher there and you can apply for highest from any where (off campus)

Naveenv495 , From some research on internet about both colleges you mention with there respective branches I found that nit trichy with instrumentation and control engineering  is better option in all aspects like placement, infrastructure and all but only fees is quite more.

I think you have got confused in the female quota seat matrix.

Well, if a college offers a female quota in seat matrix, it means that they are reserving those particular seats for female candidates. But here you have to understand that, the female candidates can take admissions from bot normal seats or female quota seats.

It is not like that, if a college don't have a seat matrix for female candidates, they won't accept admissions for female candidate.

Also, IIIT Kancheepuram is a co-educational institution and accept both male and female candidates for admissions through all the reserved and non-reserved seats.

According to Alumni Students review, IIIT Kancheepuram has a great placements with big firms visiting the campus recruitment drive includes Amazon, IBM, HCL and other companies. The recruitment data shows that every year the college is rising.A 37 firms that hired 137 students  in the year 2019 at the campus recruitment drive in college. The maximum salaries was estimated to be 20 LPA, and 17.54 LPA was the average salary.

There is no any specific mode of admission for girls in IIITs. All students have to take JEE main exam and score decent marks to get admitted accordingly into various Institutes.

IIIT kancheepuram also has same eligibility criteria

1. One needs to take JEE main and pass the class 12th board exam
2. Admissions are done on the basis of rank obtained in JEE MAIN through JOSAA counselling.

Dear student,

In IIITDM kancheepuram, there is no seats reserved for girl candidates. That's why it is not showing the seat matrix for girls.
If there is no reservation for girls, then there is no chance that girl can get admission in iiitdm kancheepuram.

But there are reservation for other categories like obc/ews/st/sc.
