Hello aspirant,

You've asked whether 4 years B. Tech from IIIT Basar or 5 years dual degree from IIIT Kanchipuram will be better. Pretty nice. I can tell you straight away to go and pursue your dual degree at IIIT Kanchipuram rather wasting your 4 years at IIIT Basar. This is because IIIT Kanchipuram provides the revised and updated syllabus also with hardware and lab facilities at its recent version. Faculties are passionate and dedicated towards the betterment for the students and are hard working and serious. Placement in this premier institute is average but the good figures will increase in the upcoming years. See if you want to learn more and develop better, then IIIT Basar is perhaps not a suitable choice.

Hope, this answer clears your doubt.

Hello, if you are interested in EC branch then you can go with IIIT Kanchipuram otherwise I would recommend you to go with production/ Metallurgy branch in Nits.

If you are getting these branches in top Nit then it is a very good option.
As Nits have better infrastructure and palcement and you will have chances to know new things in Nit.

Production engineering and Metallurgy are good branches if you work hard you can get a good placement.

All the best.

Hello Student,

IIIT Kanchipuram is one of the top ranked universities in the country. And since it is a government funded institution the fees is relatively on the lower side when compared to the other private institutions. And if you apply for ews category or some special provisions you might be able to get fee waivers as well depending on the specific criteria fulfillment. But this is not sure since there is no guarantee about this. You can check about further details in our website link given below:

Hey there!

IIIT Kancheepuram does have dual degree courses in the branch of Electronics. They offer B.tech + M.teh is Electronics and communications with specialization VLSI and Communication system design. Although if you aren't getting an option to opt for that in josaa counselling it might be because they aren't taking admission in that course this year but nothing like that has been informed yet so check again and see if you can find the course.

Priorities of colleges which are better are:

Nit Warangal > Iiit kanchipuram > nit puducherry

While in courses it will be ece >eee > biotechnology

But when going with ur specifications and viewing average package, the order will be:

1.iiit kanchipuram ece

2.nit puducherry Eee

3.nit Warangal bt

And it solely depends on your passion for that subject too!

Good luck!

As far as your JEE Main Rank, I believe you should consider options at IIIT Bhubaneshwar, IIIT Sri City and IIIT Vadodara in CSE and IT respectively, whichever is near your home state. Placements at all the three IIITs are comparable and are somewhat at par. However IIIT Sri City has an added advantage of being near Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai, the core IT hubs of India.

Although if you have no monetary issues and distance is not a problem, MSRIT CSE seems a more viable and standard option. Bangalore being an IT and Technology hub, will seriously help you in nurturing your ambitions and will provide better career prospects. Secondly Bangalore, will millions of aspirants and students provides a healthy atmosphere for students residing there.

hello jagan

as you are comparing colleges ,so don't just rely on a single view and research carefully before taking admissions .for this question ,i think i will chose doing btech from top NITs rather then a dual degree . i believe dual degree will help you more if you want to go into research field . after doing btech you have a lot new options than dual degree. also the placements is comparable between the two .even i think the placement is better in btech .so these are all my personal views and you should search more by yourselves

best wishes
