Greeting Aspirant,

To get Admission for B.sc Physics in IISC Bangalore you need to score at least 285 marks, then you can get admission without any Interview. If you are scoring below 285 You have to attend the Interview.

hope My Answer Helped You.

Best Of Luck For Future.

No you don't have to answer SB again, you can get admission into IISC with these scores.

But it is better if you depend on the scores of JEE, NEET or any other exams for the IISC preparation as the KVPY cutoffs tend to be really high.

IISC follows a very tough selection procedure so be prepared.

All the Best!!!

Hi,

The Indian Institute of Science or IISc takes a number of exams in consideration for their admission process.

There will be separate cutoffs for each of the exams namely JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, KVPY and NEET-UG.

The expected IISc BS Cutoffs for 2020 with regard to the NEET-UG Rank are as follows for the various categories:

General: 200 - 250

OBC: 5000 - 6000

SC: 5000 - 8000

ST: 40000 - 50000

These are just the expected cutoffs keeping in mind the cutoffs for the previous years which will give you a general idea of the minimum marks you need to acquire for the admission process.

All the best!

Every year there are around 100 students admitted to IISc-UG, and by the time they come to 4th year Many Student mostly 90% of them either want to go for a PhD outside India or they develop certain interests other than academia and they pursue that.

Only a few opt for corporate job, but it is certain that you will get a job after passing from UG-IISc.

Hope this will help!

hi,

see the placement is good for iisc or old iits like iit kharagpur, iit delhi, iit bombay, iit kanpur, students get placement in core companies which are closely related with materials science,

however for new iits the placement scenario is not good for core engineering branches, students wither go for teaching lines or may appear in IT companies different consultant position job roles.

hi,

see iisc bangalore , center for neuroscience offers cns phd course and integrated phd course  on neuroscience. however students who have passed the bsc course of three years need to apply for integrated phd course.  candidates shortlisted based on profile and interview session held by professors, question is mostly based on ug level course, so you must be very good at your academic questions, also must have good knowledge on 10th level mathematics. so right now you may revise your courses and practice some of the mcqs of different competitive levels exam like quantitative aptitude, reasoning. also work on your communication skill.

College Infrastructure

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
