Hello Student,

At the time of admission you have to pay the admission fees to ensure your seat in that college. Now, you can pay the amount in cash there or also there is an online link of payment has been released by ISM .So you can also pay your fees there.

Also it will be clearly mentioned in the college brochure that in how many ways you can pay the admission fees. It may have several other options too like Demand Draft, Debit and Credit Card.

As per the online mode the link is for SBI Bank , so you can pay there. Also a pdf is attached to that link by ISM , so must read it before you pay fee.

If you find any difficulty in paying the fees then you can talk with the college officials. They will surely help you.

Best of luck.

According to UGC ,  new sessions can be start from 1 November  ...after if the state has to decide the date for which the sessions wil start

Hello,

In ISM Dhanbad there is a course of B.Tech with Minor in Financial Management.

Some highlights of the Minor System:

  1. You need to have 7.0+ CGPA after second year.
  2. It is optional. By optional i mean, you need not necessarily choose a Minor course.
  3. If more than 10 students apply for the same minor course from a particular branch, the top 10 students will be allotted that minor course and the left are given the option to opt for a different Minor course.
  4. The grades obtained in Minor course won’t be reflected in the Major course grades and a separate grade sheet is issued for the same.
  5. Rest all the rules are the same as the Major course including the Summer semester process to clear a back in Minor Paper.

Hope this helps you out.

Good luck!

Hello Sohit,

Well, this question depends on

  • If you've already identified your enormous area of interest, then college doesn't matter, you can so for second best institutes, i.e. NITs and IIITs, but
  • If you are yet to identify, then you need a better platform to explore, and you should go for best institutes like IITs.

Hope This Helps,

All the Best, feel free to ask any further query...

Hi there,

  • Firstly Ism is better college than nit calicut.
  • Secondly although eee is a better branch but mining at ism is the best you can get as ism is Indian school of mines. And in jharkhand there are lot of industries like, ccl, bccl etc where every year mining engineers got placed from ism with a very handsome salary.

I hope this helps.

Hey friend!

Hoping that you are doing fine in global pandemic . I think you should opt for IIT Patna Civil or Chemical with comparison to ISM Dhanbad metallurgy . As IIT Patna is better alternative than ISM Dhanbad due to it's better NIRF Ranking , Placements , Labs etc. Also opportunities in Civil or Chemical are greater than Metallurgy .

All the best friend!

Hi Rishav,

The decision here totally depends upon your interest and plaN. Because ISM Dhanbad is one of the most famous Engineering colleges of India for Mining engineering and NIT Jalandhar ECE is one of the most acceptable options.

ISM Dhanbad will give you an IIT tag. If your interest is to pursue Mining engineering, then that is the best option; else, ECE from NIT Jalandhar will be a prudential option considering the broad scope in the future.

Hi there,

Ism dhanbad mining

Two reasons for this

  1. Firstly ism is a very good college as compared with nit raipur the placements and other aspects are comparatively far better.
  2. Second there are lots of companies in jharkhand where mining engineers are required and ism students get higher posts there as mining at ism is very much in demand.

I hope this helps

Dear Aspirants,

I suggest you to that engineering in which you are interested and can excel into which. Since IIT are of National importance you can choose any of them based on your rank and choices. But I like you to suggest that you should choose ISM Dhanbad over IIT Triputi. As ISM Dhanbad established in 1926 and offers 16 courses. While IIT Triputi is new IIT established in 2015. Also you can Mineral engineering in ISM Dhanbad and prepare for second year branch upgrade of your choice.

Best Of Luck

Hello rishi,

The same deliemma was there for my friend last year. In first round of JEE counselling he got Electrical at IIT Bhilai .If he had opted to float it was sure that he would get Engineering Physics at IIT Dhanbad .After much thinking he opted for floating and got engineering physics at Dhanbad. After waiting till last round he got Electronics and Instrumentation at Dhanbad. Now he never regret his decision.

He opted to go with float because ISM is 100 times better than IIT Bhilai. ISM has vast alumni network as established in 1926. In MHRD ranking it is above IIT BHU, Gandhinagar etc. Then why give IIT Bhilai a preference. And as far as branch is considered engineering physics will be one of the most sought branch in coming years.

hope it helps you.

If you still have any issue fell free to comment.
