The placement ratio is around 90-95% and above. The average package to a MTech post graduate is around 8-10 lakhs where the highest salary to some goes as high as 20-25 lakhs. At the end it depends on the student that is you only about how you are going to excel in the 2 years of education and how you impress them in the interview rounds, so best of wishes to you. Thank you.
Hello dear student,
Doing any course from IIT Roorkee is itself an achievement. and to be honest very good companies comes and visit the campus for placements and they really takes a good amount to students to their companies. so don't worry about the placement placement rate is quite good and the companies provide a good amount of package to the students.
I hope this was helpful to you
Best wishes
Hey there
Iits and IISC do not accept JEE mains marks for admission into these colleges. Rather JEE mains marks are only a criterion which one should pass to sit in JEE advanced which decides whether you will be selected or rejected. Iits take admission through JEE advanced and IISC take through kvpy and jee at UG level. For masters you can give gate to get into these colleges.
Check about JEE mains
Its easy. You have to be one of the topper.
The better branch you are in, the lesser chance you have. It actually works based on the following rule.
"Strength of a class shouldn't increase by 5% of actual number of seats."
For example, consider a class of 80 students CS. Every other fellow wants to get into it. There is lot of competition for those four branch changer seats. Remember two of them are only available for general category. So, you have to be in top two of the all branches put together except CS. If there are only 78 seats filled during admission, you have total six seats to occupy. But a miracle is necessary for such a fortune.
Consider another example of Meta with 120 seats. None of CS, EC, EE, ME, CE, CH wants to enter that. So you just need to be topper from GT, GPT, IMSC, BT, PP, PS etc. Lesser competition as well as some of them might have shifted to CH, or above. And some of the people say in ME might have upgraded to CS or EE etc. resulting in more number of available seats.
Hi ! Yes, in every year every IIT conduct an interview test to select students for their course. They conduct personal interview test, technical round and they select you for the program. So, the level of difficulty and number of rounds depends from year to year. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.

You have good chances of getting into IIT Roorkee with master of architecture.
Seeing the previous year trends it seems easy.

Hi ! Let me be honest with you. Thinking of IIT Bombay or IIT Roorkee or getting into them is not a cup of tea. So leave the hope of them unless and until vacancy helps you. Now speaking about the other colleges, you might get them in 2nd round or 3rd round. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
