Hello,

The best choice is IIIT Jabalpur, as it is a well-established institution of national significance with such a strong placement record. In this college In your summer holiday (3 months) + 7th semester, there is an opportunity to do 6 months of internship that is not possible in most government colleges. The curriculum of the course is better than that of most NITs. So it better to take cse at IIIT Jabalpur.

Hey aspirant,

According to last year's data, candidates under defence Category (IV) are given admission from Outside Delhi region.

Last year's cut off for outside Delhi region :-

Computer Science and Engineering - 702920 (Priority IV)

Electronics and communication engineering - 427030 (Priority V)

Information Technology - 187036 (Priority V)

So, I think your chances are little less as IGDUTW may not give admission on the basis of defence priority (VIII).

HOPE THIS HELPS,

ALL THE BEST!

Hello Vijaya Lakshmi,

Well, for IGDTUW the placements of 2019 were like :

Company Number of Offers
Accenture 52
Adobe 2
Amazon 9
Azcom Technology 7
Blackstone 5
Cisco 9
Dell 11
Expedia 9
GE Edison 3
Hero Motocorp 1
Honda 4
Maruti Suzuki 3
Microsoft 8
Fluor Daniel
11
EATON
16
TATA Motors 15
TCS 52
Oracle
14
Nestle 1
Orange Business Services 3
SAP Labs
5
Thoughtworks
3
TATA Communication
5
Fluor Daniel
11
NIIT Technologies
1
HSBC 5
1. My Honest suggestion will be, IGDTUW to be the first due to its,

2.

Wonderful Attraction of Big Giant-tech companies, and a lot of offers provided...

And for NIT Goa(Sounds Exciting but I will never suggest):

Placement Statistics 94.44%
Total No. of Students 54
No. of Students Placed 51
Highest CTC INR. 15.9 LPA
Average CTC INR 7.35 LPA
Minimum CTC INR. 3.6 LPA

And finally the NIT Kurukshetra:

Highest Package (UG)

40.63 LPA

Average Package (UG)

8.24 LPA

And No Doubt, NIT Kurukshetra is the very Good, you asked,

NIRF Engineering Ranking of NIT Kurukshetra 40 ( 2020 )

So, I would suggest Either IGDTUW or NIT Kurukshetra :

As the syllabus of CSE and IT are not very different, and placement opportunities are open almost same of CSE and IT...So you can choose IT too! over CSE...

Choose wisely, Good Luck!

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...

Hello Aspirant,

If you are looking for Placements- without a doubt, IGDTUW is better.  There students getting placed to renowned companies like Microsoft, Google, Morgan Stanley, Wipro, Wattpad, Adobe, Cisco and many more, every year.

If you are looking for a better job security and are looking for wholesome college experience, where you can have studies and have fun and grow as a person and have a little inclination towards technical field. JOIN IDGTUW.

Now why you shouldn’t.

  1. IIIT-Vadodara is a new IIIT and hence we don’t have a permanent campus yet, it is temporarily functioning in Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar.
  2. The first batch who graduate year (2017), so they doesn’t have a strong alumni base like some top NIT’s and IIT’s.
  3. If you are getting a better IIT or NIT they you should go for it.
  4. If you are least interested in programming or CS/IT, they surely IIIT is not the place to opt.

I hope it helps you.

You have not mentioned your domicile state assuming that you are from outside Delhi region, in 2019 a candidate with EWS rank (outside Delhi region) 31502 secured seat in Mechanical and Automation Engineering  in IDGTUW in round 4. So based on this you have chances of getting seat in IGDTUW but not in initial rounds. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared difficulty of exam etc.

Best of best for girls in every field.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good and adequate for academic purposes. libraries with adequate stock, which also offer a quiet area for research and study. The laboratories are well-equipped with necessary equipment and software for practical learning. Yet, hostel food is not commensurate with the fee charged, and the majority of students are unhappy with the canteen facilities, which require an improvement in hygiene as well as variety of food.

Decent academics, dull campus life, good placements.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of my college is righteous and there are many blocks among the institute. There is an ece block too which is built recently and due to which the toilets and classrooms are in best condition. There are several monkeys around the campus which makes it a bit scary to walk alone.
