Hello,
As per your percentile is concerned let me tell you that you won't be able to get cse branch in this percentile because the cut offs are higher . In this percentile you can get branches like oil technology, plastic technology, food technology.
Regarding IIITs you won't be able to get low branch in these in IIIts. You should instead try for private colleges such as VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University .
If you want to know about the colleges you can get , you can check out the link given below -

Hello aspirant,
It will be really difficult to predict the exact prediction of colleges that you can get as you haven't mentioned your category - OBC, SC, ST, or EWS. This is important because the JEE mains cutoff are different for different category students and it varies every year.
Anyways, if you belong to the OBC category and so with your above mentioned category rank, you have good chances of getting decent NIT's and IIIT's in JOSAA and CSAB counselling in good branches.
But if you belong to any of the EWS, SC, or ST category, then it will be very difficult for you to get any good NIT or IIIT as the required rank for all these categories are around 2k-4k, 2k-3k, 1k-2k respectively in JEE mains, as acocrding to the previous year JEE mains Cutoff analysis.
To know more about the JEE mains Cutoff, you can follow the below mentioned link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
To know about your chances of admissions in other colleges, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
I hope that this will help.
Hello Aspirant,
As per your information, with this rank it will be difficult to get high demanding branches like CSE, IT, ECE etc in top NITs or IIITs.
Cutoff keeps changing year to year. Keep in mind that your chances to grab a seat will vary on the following basis:
Here are some NITs and IIITs based on this rank :
You can go for JOSAA and CSAB counselling. Also, you can apply for central University. There you will get more advantages to get colleges.

Hi
Making prediction is difficult as cutoff depends upon various factors like :-
******** number of students/ candidates that appeared in the jee main exam,
******** number of available seats,
******** jee main examination difficulty level.
******** the branch you want,
******** the category you belong etc.
******** your rank in jee main
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>>>>>> With your mentioned category rank
Yes, you can get iiit
You have chances in following which are listed below under other state/ all india quota :-
-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Kalyani, West Bengal :- computer science
-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur:- computer science
-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur:- computer science
-----------) Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur, Mechatronics Engineering
And a few more
You can check the closing ranks at official website of josaa by going through the link given below
JOSAA :-
https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx
Above prediction has been made considering past year cut off data but closing rank for colleges varies every year depending upon many factors like jee main question paper difficulty, number of students writing the exam etc so

Dear Parent,
You haven’t mentioned specific NIT so I will try to cover the best one vs DTU.
Here you go,
NIT Warangal > NIT Trichy > DTU > NIT Suratkal > NIT Allahabad > NSIT
DTU might have been at the top, but its 85% reservation for students from Delhi prevented it. I'm talking about a tiny portion of India, only 15%, and 85% of Delhi.
While in Trichy, there is a 50/50 chance of that happening.
- Pick NIT Trichy, CSE without a second thought if placements are your only concern.
* In many ways, it is far superior to many IITs. The research facilities and lecturers offered there are comparable to those of any university in the nation.
* The placements are excellent, and some of the greatest businesses from around the globe come in to hire.
* You can participate in extracurricular activities like Vortex.
* You may also access their department's newsletter through their website to learn more about what they've been up to. If you put in the work, any CSE department—regardless of location—has an advantage over the competition.
*NIT Trichy is one of the best Institutes in the country if you want to major in CSE in engineering.
More about NIT T - https://www.google.com/amp/s/dqxeclau.top/university/national-institute-of-technology-tiruchirappalli/amp
Now Let’s see the pros and cons of DTU-
Pros: 1. Excellent brand recognition and industrial exposure.
2. Advantage if you are not a CSE major with a burning desire to pursue an MBA after graduation.
3. IIT-D or IIIT-D have excellent coding cultures and options for research projects.
4. Excellent positioning (This one does not merit a second opinion.)
Cons -
1. Average professors and school-sponsored research projects.
2. The CSE batch's large student body increases competition.
More about DTU -
https://www.google.com/amp/s/dqxeclau.top/university/delhi-technological-university-delhi/amp
So if you managed to get into NIT T then you should definitely go for it. It’ll be close to your home, plus the heat will not bother you much. But if you get into DTU I must say you’ll get into a lot of exposures of cultural and industrial experiences. You’ll get into a complete different life style being from south to north which will also develop your social profile. So I would recommend you to choose according to your interest as both of them are really good institutions than any IIITs.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
Yes, you do have chances to get NITs like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Hamirpur, Patna, Goa. In these colleges you can get CSE branch or at the worst case scenario ece branch.
However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
If you want to check out the colleges you can get ,you can check out the college predictor link given below -
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
Hello,
If we go by the available data for the cut offs for the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore IIIT- B, then your chances of getting seat in the college seem very grim.
------ The cut off for Integrated Mtech course in CSE was CRL 6,000 and for ECE it was 7,200 after Round 2 of counseling.
----- The cut off for colleges change every year and depends upon number of reasons such as number of applicants, difficulty level of paper, performance of candidates in the examination, the seat matrix of seats etc.
To predict the colleges where you might have chances of getting seat in based on your performance in the JEE-MAIN 2022, kindly check out the Careers 360's college predictor. Here is a link to it -
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
------ With the college predictor you get to know about the colleges where you have good chance, medium chance and tough chances of getting seat. Also you will get to know actual cut offs.
The chances provided are based on minute details such as Rank, Caste, Homestate, gender etc.
I hope you find the answer helpful
Thank you.
