Hello Manasa,

With this rank, it is difficult to get admission in any of the nits or iiits, because you got a chance to appear in the jee advanced , do appear for it with full preparation. After that decide where to take admission.
I will suggest you to appear for spot round also.

Do visit our link for the predictions of probable colleges that you can get according to your rank which is based on previous years trends.

By the way , have you scored 75%+ in your board??

if you have any other queries, do comment please

best of luck...!!!

Hello Dear
I am very sorry to say that with this rank there is no chances to get admission in nit .
Please focus on another exam and try for private college .
Thanks

Sorry to disappoint you but even with having the advantage of reservation you need ti score a rank below 25k to get admission into NITs . With this rank you could only get admission into private engineering colleges however you might get lower branches in NITs if you have state quota.

You can predict what colleges you might get with this rank by going through the link of college predictor tool given below.

Thank you.

Hello Rakesh,

For admission in NIT's/IIIT's/GFTI's the minimum requirement is you should have 75% marks in your board exams, or you should be in the top 20 percentile. This is for general/OBC category.

For SC/ST 65% marks is sufficient.

Dear candidate,

As per the last year trend for the Nits you may have chance to get in. As you have a home state benefit and reserved category benefiylt you have high chance for the NIT Durgapur, west bengal. College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.
