8000 is a pretty good rank in JEE Main.
It certainly shows that you're capable of more.
Getting CSE at any of the BITS campuses is a dream for many.
And I think, you're very close to achieving an excellent rank in BITSAT.
If it's physically feasible,
You shouldn't miss your chance at BITSAT.
Try to do both.
You must have choices while choosing your college. Or god forbid, if you don't do as par with your expectations in Advanced, you'll still have BITS as an option.

According to your rank and based on the previous year cutoff, chances would be less of getting seat in NITs, IIITs, through JoSAA Counselling. You can have chances of getting admission through state level counselling.

if this rank is in general category and you are belonging to OBC then you surely get a set but if your OBC RANK is that than it is impossible to get in nit or iiit. by using career 360 predictors you will know your college on the basis of this rank you will visit

There is nothing like direct admission in NITs .You need to get good Marks .And as for your rank concern you can not geta any NITs or IIITs

College Infrastructure
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
Overall college life here is not too much but good.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
