Hello!
As EWS is a recently introduced category, we have a lesser idea and predictiong of the EWS category. There is a chance that you might get into an NIT, but it would be close to the bottom ranking NITs, that too only if there are seats which are left anymore, as NITs and IITs are in high demand.
Good luck!
Hi Dilip, greetings. JEE Mains is the preliminary exam to obtain seat in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs across India. Your rank of 13961 in SC category is unlikely to get you a seat in any of the NITs or IIITs. But please don't lose hope, do sit in the spot round of the Josaa counselling, you might get a seat. Thank you.
Hey there the cutoff for nits for obc category are below 30,000 and for iiits for obc category cutoff is below 20,000. So chances are low to get in nits and iiits but you can go for other private colleges in your state or in other state.
Check the below link to know cutoff as per your requirements

Good luck.
You have got a rank which is too much to get admitted to any NITs GFTIs or iiits. You can check out the cutoff of the JEE main for different colleges here

I can tell you some college where you can CSE are nit Manipur, nit Jharkhand, IIIT Kurnool, IIIT Kota and some few others. So hope you understand and best of luck to you. Given below a link will be useful for you.

JEE Main College Predictor 2019 - Predict Colleges based on your JEE Main Rank
Hi , aspirant .
Getting a seat also depends on your category and state of domicile . If you belong to general category you may not be able to get a good NIT and being an obc candidate doesn't make any difference at that rank but you can get into an average NIT with some average branch . An SC/ST category student of that rank can get into a good NIT with a core branch . Some top IIITS have low cutoffs than NITs so if you want top college my opinion is to go with GFTIs.
THANK YOU.
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
