You can check which college you can get into by using this college predictor

paste it in you url address and check.

Thankyou.

Hi aspirant,

IIITs rank among the top institutes of the country and CSE is the most sought after course in IIITs. Hence, the cut-off for CSE in IIITs is very high. So based on your rank, even with an SC quota, you will not be able to get admission in CSE. Don't worry you can try for other government and private colleges.

Hello Antara,
If you are not branch specific then you may have a shot at medium reputed NITs.

Other case scenario may be having a NIT in your state. So, it would be better for me to check it out if you would dropped you home State Quota below in the comment section.

Hoping that you may get some decent college with branch of your interests.
Good luck...

Hello aspirant,

IIITS are the one of the topmost institute for engineering in India and every one wants to get admission in such type of colleges. But to get into this institution one needs to have a very good rank and with the result you got you will not be able to get any branch in any of the IIITS as the competition is very tough and lots of hard work is to be done .

You can go through the previous years cutoff for a better understanding.

Admission in this college also depends on various factors such as category, home state quota, branch selection, number of students applied, etc.

Hope this helps.

If any queries feel free to ask.

All the best!!

Regards.

With this rank, you have a very futile chance of getting into the NITs and IIITs on the basis of your category rank.

However, you should go for the counseling as you never know something good can happen due to the uncertainty in the preference of the majority of the candidates.

Best of luck for your future!

Hello Nayandeep Sahu ,
It is quite impossible to get any IIIT/NIT/GFTI with a rank of 25000 in OBC category in Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) counseling .Though there will still be a quite chance of getting a seat in CSAB counseling .I would recommend you to use our college predictor to know which colleges you can get with the link given below:-

Hope it helps and all the best for your future endeavors.

hello a google user,

as the query asked about your seat confirmation

the premium institutes where the seat accomdation is given through the JOSAA-2019

the percentile you secured in the JEE is not enough . as the competition for the IIIT will be even tough

so try untill the last round of the counselling

all the best

All the best

Hello Sujeeth,

Taking into account your JEE Mains percentile and considering that you are an EWS category candidate, you should be able to get a seat in middle to lower ranked NITs as well as IIITs except the top 3-4 IIITs. You should also be able to get a seat in all GFTIs that take admission through JOSAA counselling.

Some additional information about JEE Mains:
JEE Mains is an annual exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency and the CBSE for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other institutes. It also serves as the first stage for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced.
EWS is a new category that has been created by the MHRD for economically weaker sections. 10% seats will be reserved for those candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum.

College Infrastructure

As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.

Overall college life here is not too much but good.
