YES.definitely Thumma, taking your category into consideration, you definitely get into NITs and IIITs if that is your JEE Mains marks but id that is your jee advanced marks, ten you might have have hard time getting into IITs because cutoff of IITs is too high.
Thanks for connecting.Team careers360.
Hello Pranav,
Taking into account your JEE Mains rank, you will only be able to get CSE in one of the lower ranked NITs. But if you compromise with your branch and go for IT or ECE, then you can get one of the top to middle ranked NITs. Since these branches are slightly similar and you can also go for branch change after the 1st year, I would recommend you to take admission in a good NIT.
With your JEE Advanced rank, sorry but if you are a general category aspirant, then you won't be able to get any college with this rank.
Some additional information about JEE Mains:
JEE Mains is an annual exam that is conducted by the National Testing Agency and the CBSE for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other institutes. It also serves as the first stage for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced.
EWS is a new category that has been created by the MHRD for economically weaker sections. 10% seats will be reserved for those candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum.

Hello Satyabrata,
Taking into account your rank and considering the fact that you are a ST category candidate, you should be able to get IT branch in IIIT Bhubaneshwar under the home state quota.

As for your question, considering your peercentile, you won't be able to get CSE in SASTRA but should be able to get other less preferred branches.

Greetings to you,
As per your SC category rank in JEE Mains 2019, you are not likely to get a seat in any of the NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. The UP state quota can't help you with this rank to get a seat in the respective NIT of the state. I would suggest you to try for state government funded technical institutions or private institutions who conduct their own separate admission tests. Good Luck.
Yes, you can get admission in IIIT Dharwada and you might also get admission in Computer Science and Engineering there, however, in the initial rounds you might not be able to get it but you have a good chance of getting ECE there. However, you should try for CSE as if you are not able to get admission in the first seven rounds of counselling but still you might get admission in the special rounds there. All the best for your future endeavours.
Hi rithwik,

With this rank it will be very difficult to get admission in a NIT or IIIT. Even if you might get admission in a NIT or IIIT even then it will be very difficult to get a good branch. Thus, my suggestion to you is that you should aim towards private and state universities where you might have a good chance pf getting admission and you might also get a decent branch. All the best.
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
