There is no separate branch cutoff where it is considered. There are only category reservation like general ,SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, TFW, generalPH, SCPH,OBC A Pwd. There might be some seats reserved in every branch for defence reservation.

Give your best in the exam and prepare well. If you score well then you will surely get an admission. You can also apply for scholarship as per your qualification.

The number of seats in the geology department of Jadavpur University for B.Sc in Geology hons. was 39 last year. The number of seats this year is expected to be the same or can have small increase.
The course duration is of three years.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that Jadavpur University is a state university of West Bengal. It does not take admission into engineering courses though JEE MAINS. A student has to appear for WBJEE and score a very good rank in order to get a decent branch in B.Tech.

Yes,according to the pervious years information 15% seats are been offered by the  jadavpur university to getting admission in the jadavpur university by the exam JEE Mains.So if you are wants to join in this university through JEE mains then you should score high marks in the JEE mains exam.

Total number of seats in Jadavpur University is around 1300. All these seats are allocated for the candidates who want to specialize in various streams of B. Tech (4 years)  such as Civil, CSE,  Electrical,  ECE. etc. Courses of Pharmacy are also conducted which comprises of 85 seats. Jadavpur university has been awarded the 9th rank in the NIRF rankings among all the reputed engineering colleges of India.

Last year the total no of seats for B.sc in geological science at jadavpur university was around 39-40. The duration of this course is 3 years .
