Getting Cse branch in Jadavpur University is tough with this rank as per the previous years cutoff .

But you can try for other branches in this college or you can get admission in cse branch in other colleges like Kalyani,etc.

I got 1400 rank. What is the chance of getting different branches in jadavpur university

In Jadavpur University you may not get CES, IT or ECE. But you may get Civil Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy, Food Processing Engineering, Plastic Engineering and Polymer Engineering. Getting seats in other core branchs like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, EEE is tough with this rank but you may get these branches in Spot or Mop-Up counselling.

Is it possible to get metallurgical engineering in Jadavpur University at low wbjee rank?

Yes, it is possible to get but remember the low rank mean in general is 1500. Well now vacancy may lead the rank upto 3000. So that is what I can tell you. Please make sure that whether that department is still there for I heard a rumour that they are going to uplift it. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.

Sir i have gmr 3264 in wbjee 2019. I am from general category and have a west Bengal domicile. Will i get CSE in Jadavpur university?

You can see the opening and closing ranks of last year. That will give you avettet insight. But anyways, I guess , your rank has to be well within 1300–1400 to take admission in JU.

So getting a seat is a bit tough than you expect hope to have a second option.

My tfw rank is 297 can I get chance in jadavpur university in electronics and communication

Hello,

The cutoff for ECE in General Category is 7-185 for SC category is:- 314-1783 and for ST category is:- 4817-22007. You can apply for the college and get an seat if you have any other reservation like state quota then that would be more helpful.

You can go for other branches also like Information Technology which is same to CSE and your rank is also with in the range.

Can I get Jadavpur University architecture branch with a good wbjee rank and a bad JEE paper 2 rank ??

Jee mains paper 2 , NATA and wbjee are the three ways by which you can get into the specified University with architecture. As per my knowledge, clearing any one of them should be enough to get you through.

Hi

Yes, you are eligible for taking admission at Jadavpur University, though you have to secure enough Mark's in WBJEE to get a seat there.

The candidates has to qualify 12th (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual passing marks in all the three subjects mentioned above.

This qualification is same as that to required to be eligible for WBJEE also.

For general category, candidates have to secure an aggregate of 45% and reserved category candidates should have secured 40% in the above three subjects taken together to be eligible for WBJEE and admission through it. All candidates are required to have qualified in English in 12th standard with at least 30% of total marks. The board of the qualifying examination must be recognized by Central and State government concerned.

your rank is not good enough to get a seat in jadavpur university. you mmay get printing that too in the decentralised round. the chances are very less though. you can go for kalyani government engineering college, you can get ee, mechanical there. you can get cse in jalpaiguri government engineering college.

Hey aman. Jadavpur university is a state University of west Bengal and thus the admission is done on the basis of wbjee. Also it doesn't take admission through jee mains. For taking admission in ju for the core branches your rank should below 1500 and for other branches less than 2500 for general category student.

College Infrastructure

The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.

My experience at Jadavpur University was great.

College Infrastructure

The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.

Very nice experience.

College Infrastructure

Our University has very good infrastructure. But a little bit old fashioned. But our department has many laboratories such as APPLIED MECHANOCS LAB, HEAT POWER LAB, HYDRAULICS LAB, FITTING SHOP, CARPENTRY SHOP, BLUE EARTH MACHINE SHOP, FOUNDRY SHOP, FORGING SHOP. We also have two computer labs in our department.
