Hello Sir,
According to the statistics, placements in KIIT are decent. Around 80-90% of the students get placed during the placements. Big companies like Amazon, Dell, Deloitte, HP, etc., have visited the campus during the placements. This year, most of the students were recruited by TCS. Also, the placement cell tries hard to provide the core branches with a decent job apart from IT companies.

Hey !

Yes , after the reporting , seat allotment and the whole counselling procedure is done at the site on the respective date , you can  surely attend the wedding. But you must make sure that your seat is locked there. If any of the steps is incomplete  , get it done before attending the wedding.

Also , if you are unable to go at the time of counselling , your parents can go and attend the counselling session alongwith the following documents:

  • Identity proof along with the photograph
  • Authorization letter of the candidate
  • Certificate with the name of the candidate’s parent attending the KIITEE counselling 2019. Class 10 pass certificate or birth certificate

For the whole counselling procedure of KIIT ,follow the given link :

Yes you can it's just a formality and nothing. Admission process is very easy.

Hi Aspirant,

According to NIRF rankings, KIIT has a better ranking than Symbiosis and MIT-WPU. So, I would suggest you to stick to your decision, and not apply for MIT-WPU and Symbiosis. Plus average package at KIIT is more than at Symbiosis and MIT-WPU.

NIRF Ranking of KIIT: 48 and the others are not even in the top 100.
Median salary of KIIT is 3,85,000(all the branches)

All the best.

Hello aspirant,

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is one of the topmost technical institute. It offers various courses and one of them is BTech. In BTech also it offers many courses such as in CSE ,IT ,ECE,ME,CE,etc.

The fees structure at KIIT for BTech in CSE( per semester) is as

Tuition fees: 1.5 lakhs

Hostel fees ( non AC 3 beded): 21000

Mess fee:15000

Examination fee:1000

Semester registration:1000

Further about 75000 rupees is to be paid which includes councilling fees, laptop, vision, blanket, spoon, other utensils, etc. This is one time pay and the rest fees is for per semester .

KIIT revises its fees structure every 3 years.

There are many scholarship available at KIIT which is provided on the financial status of the students and also to the KITEE topper and the students who tops in university exams .

Therefore the total fees per semester would be around 1.9 lakhs and 75000 extra at the time of admission.

If you get any scholarship then it will be only for a single semester . Suppose you get scholarship at the time of admission then also you have to pay around 1.25-1.5 lakhs + 75000 extra charges which would become a total of 2-2.5 lakhs for the first semester and after that 1.7-1.9 lakhs each semester if no scholarship is awarded.

Therefore the total fees for 4 years would be around 15-16 lakhs( without scholarship) and around 12 lakhs (if scholarship is awarded).

Hope this helps. For any further queries feel free to ask.

All the best!!

Regards.

CS in KIIT is way better than CS in JSS noida.
The placement scenario in KIIT is much much better than JSS.
The ranking of KIIT University is also better than JSS.
And KIIT has best placements in CS.
And there is no such thing as "north indian girl". Eventually you're studying in your own country. I am also from Delhi and I am also joining KIIT this year as a fresher in B.Tech IT.

Hi Sarthak ! To be fair KIIT is much better than all of them. Well, KIIT may be a private college but ranks as one of the best private college in India and it's rank is far ahead of nit Mysore in nirf ranking. No doubt placement is good In both nit Mysore and KIIT and KIIT has slight good placement than nit Mysore. From the point of view of facility KIIT is much better than nit Mysore. Now minute Meenakshi does stand last of all these colleges. So best of luck to you.

Dear Aspirant, you can join this colleges for your b tech course in this stream. These colleges are very popular and the campussing of these colleges are very good.

Thank you. Best of luck.

Hi Sambaran ! No doubt both colleges are very good but still I will prefer KIIT than Manipal University Jaipur. It's sad that you are not getting computer in Manipal which is one of the best stream in that college. But speaking for ECE it is good in KIIT and computer is also good there just slightly below Manipal. So take an admission in KIIT and go forward. So best of luck to you.

PS : good or bad is on the basis of placement, teaching quality and facilities.

Hi Kuntal,

Congratulations,for your result

According to my opinion if you like computer science then you should definitely take cs in kiit else you should go for mechanical or chemical in thapar university.

Cs has a better job security than mechanical or chemical however placements totally depends on your own skills and quality. But it cs in kiit would be a better option according to me.

Thank you

Yours faithfully

College Infrastructure

KIIT has pretty much anything and evrything a student can ask for in terms of the infrastructure, there are enough sports facilities, good number of gardens and just greenery for someone who likes to be in the nature. The academic buildings are all equipped with air conditioning due to how hot it gets in bhubaneswar, the laboratories are well maintained some of the desktops in the computer labs are dated but they're currently being updated. All in all its got evrything you'll ever need but sometimes it can be a bit too crowded as some of the extra curricular related things are spread accross the campus and some might be too far from you therefore there ends up being huge crowds in a certain area.

Till now I am having a very good college life

College Infrastructure

KIIT is well known for it's infrastructure and facilities. Starting from the hostels, we have well working air conditioners centralized ac in mess and the rooms are spacious aswell and classes having smart boards, ac and spacious
