Congragulations on your rank.And regarding your question , you will definetly get a good college for CSE,but changing the department of your desire only because you are not getting a good college is not advisable , because if you need to excel in any field , you should have a bit of interest , so opt for CSE even if you find the college comparitively a bit less satisfying than the other one .Not because ECE is a bad stream only because your passion is limited to CSE never plan on doing something like that.

I hope you would take my humble advise.Anyways the choice is yours.

Being a student of KIIT Deemed To Be University,I personally recommend you to join KIIT since it is best known for the placements .Every year various companies hire students offering them 8-30 lakhs of annual package.The university has well constructed and designed labs and facilities for the students.

The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities.

They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat & clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights. Here you can find food from every parts of India.The hostel food is much better than other universities.(though the weather might be annoying at times!).

Every private universities has students who come through donatation but here ,the number is way less than other private engineering colleges. The fee structure of KIIT is also less  as compared to Manipal university. In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education.

I think comrdk has a better collection of the most reputed colleges in bangalore. So I think for a CSE seat you should definetly opt for the top comedk colleges. So I think that you apply for the comedk counselling and wait for good colleges. Please do comment if you have more doubts.

I would suggest you to join KIIT University on these basis,however, whichever university you choose, it is upto the individual to perform and master the skills. After all it's you who is going to represent your Alma Mater.

See the rank u have secured is enough for h to grab seat in these private college as they give preferences to the JEE mains qualifiers and also the seats are filled until they are full so u can also use management quota if in case it comes any necessity. I m providing u a link for ur help.

Dear Aspirant, the passing marks for st category is 40% of the full marks. And the closing rank in general is 5044. So if you have the category certificate, you will get the facilities of your category.

If you are getting ECE in VIT Vellore campus to for it rather than CSSE in KIIT as VIT is a more reputed college than KIIT and has a better brand value than KIIT.

Also the campus at VIT Vellore is quite spectacular and full of life. Connectivity is not at par but is considerably good.
