Hello!

You have got a quite decent rank in KIITEE exam. However the eligibility criteria of KIITEE states that you need to secure an 60% in PCM which also means that you need to secure 60% in physics, chemistry and maths individually. For example - Even if your aggregate in PCM might be 61% but if your scores are like 63,60,59 in physics, chemistry and maths respectively then you will not be eligible for admission. Even that one mark Less in maths would cost you much!  However your mark in English and optional subject is not taken into consideration for this.

Sorry to say but even if your KIITEE rank is quite decent you won't get admission into B.Tech steam in KIIT.Getting a 60% in PCM is the much required thing which they can expect from anyone opting for a B.Tech course.

However if you choose branches like Biotechnology, law.LLB or BBA ,it won't be an issue and you can get admission there.

Last year during my admissions in KIIT,One of my friends had got an aggregate of 65% in PCM. However she had secured 54 in mathematics due to which her admission to B.Tech course was declared invalid though she had been fulfilling all the other necessary elegibilities. However ,now she is enrolled for a 5 year dual degree Biotechnology course at KIIT.

So you can get admission into any other courses other than B.Tech or any technical course at KIIT

Apart from this the only other possible way to get admission in a B.Tech course in KIIT  through management quota. For that you need to contact undersigned counselor, who could provide you with the necessary details for admission at KIIT UNIVERSITY.

Hope this helps!!!

Hello Khurshid.

3726 is quite a good rank in KIITEE but one may not get pure CSE branch with this rank. However there is chance of getting branches like computer science and system engineering( CSSE),computer science and information technology(CSIT),IT.These branches are as good as CSE in KIIT in terms of placement wise.

Last year when I had attend the women counseling in KIIT, almost all the seats for pure CSE got over by 1500 rank because of its rising demand. However there might be chances of getting CSE in the second round of counseling .

Hope this helps!

Hello Vineet!

I can only tell you that on the basis of the given rank that you have scored in KIITEE, you will not be able to get any good branch like CSE, MECH ,IT EEE, ECE branch  on merit basis. Though students securing ranks upto 60K are being considered and are being called for COUNSELLING,yet the selection might be tough.

The only possibility of getting admission in your desired branch that is CSE  is through managment quota.

For that you need to contact undersigned counselor, who could provide you with the necessary details for admission at KIIT UNIVERSITY. Through management quota you will get admission in CSE department in KIIT.

Hope this helps you!

Hello Manvendra,

You have secured a good rank in your KIITEE exam. Taking into consideration the previous year cutoffs, you can easily get branches like ETC,EEE,ECSE,E&I,MECH,CIVIL,EE,AUTOMOBILE.

Sadly you can't get admission if you have missed your first round of counseling. You could attended the second round of counseling only if you had attended the first.

However something or the other can be done if you contact some people associated with the counseling procedure in KIIT University. So don't lose heart!

Being a student of KIIT Deemed To Be University,I personally recommend you to join KIIT since it is best known for the placements .Every year various companies hire students offering them 8-30 lakhs of annual package. The university has well constructed and designed labs and facilities for the students.

The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities.

They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat & clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights. Here you can find food from every parts of India. The hostel food is much better than other universities.(though the weather might be annoying at times but!).The faculties in KIIT are also friendly. Overall KIIT is a college that anyone could ask for.

Every private universities has students who come through donatation but here ,the number is way less than other private colleges. The fee structure of KIIT is also less  as compared to other private colleges. In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education

Hope  this helps!

College Infrastructure

KIIT has pretty much anything and evrything a student can ask for in terms of the infrastructure, there are enough sports facilities, good number of gardens and just greenery for someone who likes to be in the nature. The academic buildings are all equipped with air conditioning due to how hot it gets in bhubaneswar, the laboratories are well maintained some of the desktops in the computer labs are dated but they're currently being updated. All in all its got evrything you'll ever need but sometimes it can be a bit too crowded as some of the extra curricular related things are spread accross the campus and some might be too far from you therefore there ends up being huge crowds in a certain area.

Till now I am having a very good college life

College Infrastructure

KIIT is well known for it's infrastructure and facilities. Starting from the hostels, we have well working air conditioners centralized ac in mess and the rooms are spacious aswell and classes having smart boards, ac and spacious
