You should go for CSE at KIIT over IT at manipal university Jaipur. The CSE branch at KIIT will provide you a better exposure for getting a right amount of knowledge and will provide you a better options of job opportunities. I think you have got the point.

It totally depends on your choice and interest to which branch you want to opt. Go by your will and you can excel in every field also, the aerospace branch has good scope in the coming years. You can easily get aerospace branch in kiit as the cutoff closing  for the branch is more than what you have got. Your rank is good even for computer science all the best!

 I can only tell you that on the basis of the given rank that you have scored in KIITEE, you will not be able to get branches like CSE ,IT  on merit basis but you may get branches like EEE,ETC,mechanical and civil. Though students securing ranks upto 60K are being considered and are being called for COUNSELLING,yet the selection might be tough. 

The only possibility of getting admission in your desired branch is through managment quota.

The university is best in every aspect whether it is academics or other activities.
They have a very well designed campus and in the last few years ,it has improved many hostel rooms, classrooms, campus etc.Hostels are very neat & clean and the College campuses have beautiful sights. Here you can find food from every parts of India.The hostel food is much better than other universities and the teachers here are very helpful and friendly.I assure you that you won't regret after taking admission here.

First of all Congratulations for securing a good rank in KIITEE exam. With this rank you can easily get branches like EEE,EIE,ECSE,mechanical,civil. Just because you are selected for first round of counselling doesn't mean that your admission has been confrimed in KIIT.You need to attend the counselling where you need to book a seat for yourself in your desired branch and also if that branch is available as per your rank.After the counselling only, the authorities will let you know the Admission date which mostly occurs in the first week of July.That day important documents such as your Birth Certicate,Board Certificates,Conduct Certificate and various essential documents shall be verified to see if the information confirms with the eligibility criteria. If all the criterias are successfully fulfilled,That will confirm your final admission in KIIT.So be prepared.

According to the cutoff of 2017, the cutoff of Computer Science Engineering in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar was 5044. So, your rank isn't anywhere close to the required rank by the College. Please select another course or try again.

Your chances of getting a seat in Computer Science Engineering at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is bleak. However you have a fair chance of securing a seat in IT Engineering branch, based on the past trends.

On the basis of previous years cut offs and rank secured by you in KIITEE, there are high chances for you to get Information Technology (IT) branch, but there are no or low chances to get Computer Science (CS) branch, in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. 

With your rank secured in VITEEE, there are no chances for you to get IT in VIT Vellore as cut off of previous years is around 12000 to 17000 closing ranks.

According to JOSAA,after the first round of the counseling you can either lock the college you were given or you can float it.If you are satisfied with the college that you have got,then you can lock it or you can just wait for the second round.There is no specific procedure,it asks you if u want to continue this counselling and you can continue it.
