NIT Calicult is most popular among all students and as per placement record over past years  A total of 80% placement was recorded including UG and PG batch. The highest salary offered during campus recruitment was 50 LPA more then 139 companies visited NIT Calicut for placement season and as per biography placement is increase year by year in this campus .Where some of top recruiting companies are JP morgan,Bajaj Motors,Deloitte ,Infosys,Vedanta,Ford,Wipro etc..

For National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal in other state quota you need to get as per previous year figures 2156 for general category for EWS also the rank will be almost the same for other state.

Nit Surathkal is one the most prestigious colleges of the country hence all its stream of btech are good but statically the placement records are as follows

Civil - 66.18%

Cse-100%

Electrical and ece-94. 37%

Etc.

Hence you can chose nit Surathkal for sure and if you have the choice of branches then you can chose Cse or electrical.

From your percentile, your All India Rank seems around 22000 . But if you want  CSE in NIT Surathkal or NIT Warangal , your rank should be within 15000 i.e 98.5 percentile . But if you belong to Telangana or Karnataka , then you will get NIT Warangal and NIT Surathkal respectively under Home State quota .

You would also get CSE in MNIT Allahabad , MNIT Jaipur and NIT Bhopal and so on .

Yashwanth, Gowda Community falls under OBC Category in a broader perspective and there are approximately 94-100 seats available for OBCs of Karnataka available in NIT Surathkal for B.Tech. Apart from this there is no specific reservation for Gowda Community. They get reservations along with OBCs.
