Eligibility to take participation in admission procedure of NIT Silchar. NIT Silchar generates two cut off criteria, one is for home quota and another one is for other states, If you meet these criteria you will be eligible for the admission. Remember one thing that initial cutoff marks mean, this is the only first step to move in next round of counseling procedure of seat allotment. Here I'm sharing the cutoff criteria of NIT Silchar 2020.

For AIQ range is around 20-25k & for
HSQ range is upto 60k

Dear candidate

You need to secure a rank around 3000 or less if you belong to home state inorder to get seat in NIT Sinchar for Computer Science Engineering branch for SC category or if you belong to other state state you need to score a rank around 2000 for Computer Science Engineering branch for SC category so to say in terms of marks so, as you belong to SC category inorder to get a rank around 2000 you need to secure atleast 110+ marks.

Hey! The National Institutes of Technology are autonomous public technical and research universities located in India and are among most reputable institutes of technology in the world. If you are non home state student then you must get a rank below 8000 to get a seat in NIT Agartala / otherwise being a home state student you get a relaxation of around 2000 rank. Hope this may help you.

It is difficult to talk in terms of marks in JEE main, so we will talk in terms of JEE Main All India Rank. For Computer Science branch at NIT Silchar, last year cutoff for EWS category Home state candidate was around 5000. While for Electronics and Communication branch, it was around 9000 and around 13000 for Civil branch at NIT Silchar.

So, scoring ranks under 12000 will definitely fetch you one of the branches you mentioned at NIT Silchar easily.

NIT Jamshedpur is better than NIT Silchar in terms of placements, environment. Both the campuses are good but you prefer NIT Jamshedpur as it has better faculty and placement opportunities provided by the campus.

As you wanted to get admission in MBA you have to write entrance exam for it like tancet,cat ,gmat to get seat in the Good colleges and to get seat for 42 percentile  you   have less chances to get seat in that college or university but lets hope for the best

To get seat in that college so study well and work hard to get good marks in the good colleges or universities and ALL THE BEST for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

NIT's MAT cutoff percentile is very high compared to some top B Schools. A minimum percentile of 90 is needed to get a call from NIT Silchar. With 42 percentile in MAT, there are very less chances to get into NIT Silchar for MBA.

I'll recommend you to join NIT Silchar and not Rungta Engineering college because the exposure and placements at NIT silchar are far better than Runglta engineering college.

NIT Silchar has a great placement record with more than 86% of B.Tech students getting placed every year, with an average annual CTC of INR 6.25 LPA and the highest package as INR 32.5 LPA.
