Hello student,
I suggest you yo choose government colleges like NITs,IIITs and GFTIs over any other colleges. If you have chance for NIT warangal or NIT surathkal, then surely go for it they are one of the best NITs in south india. The placements, college life and education is very good in NIT warangal and out of all the three NITs,NIT surathkal has a very good ranking
the median package for engineering students is in NIT warangal 7.45 lakhs
the median package for engineering students in NIT surathkal - 8 lakhs
the median package for engineering students in NIT trichy - 6 lakhs
You can compare all the three NITs using the following link

Hello
Naveenv495
, From some research on internet about both colleges you mention with there respective branches I found that nit trichy with instrumentation and control engineering is better option in all aspects like placement, infrastructure and all but only fees is quite more.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
hi,
see the both of the stream you have mentioned are the combination stream , production engineering has concepts of mechanical engineering, operations research, where metallurgical engineering is combination of chemical and industrial engineering. however none of the stream can not be said as easy stream, but you should chose as per your subjects of Interest. now coming to job prospect there is wide scope in different industry from both of the stream, but the vacancy is comparatively less in public sector undertakings.
hope it would help.
Hello,
It is difficult to predict if you can get seat in NIT, Trichy because it depends on the cut off and cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available. And you have not mentioned your rank seat allocation is based on your rank. It is not clear whether you belong to OBC-NCL or OBC-CL. If you belong to OBC-CL then you will be considered are general category candidate.
In 2019 the cut off for OBC-NCL (other state) was 5227 for admission to Instrumentation and Control Engineering and for general category it was 13606 in round 7. So if you have a rank below the given cut off rank then you may have chances of getting seat if your rank is above the previous year cut off then the chances are difficult. As said cut off changes depending on above mentioned factors.
You can use our JEE college predictor to know the colleges in which you may get seat https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hi,
State code of eligibility means the code of the State from where the candidate has passed Class XII (or equivalent) qualifying examination by which the candidate becomes eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2020. The State code of eligibility mustn't be about the native place or the place of residence of the candidate. For example, if a candidate appears for the Class XII examination in Mumbai and is a resident of Uttar Pradesh, the candidate’s State code of eligibility will be Delhi.
You must provide your Class XII Mark sheet or Class XII Admit card for verification of the state code of eligibility. You can also provide your Passport to your permanent address in it.
Thank you.
Dear Student,
You have a very nice score , but you have less chances to get CSE in NIT Trichy in subsequent rounds based on your General category. But you have some chances on the basis of your SC category. Below I am providing you the cut-off page of NIT Trichy . You can check your admission chances there.

Hope this helps.
The infrastructure of college is quite good , big and well designed . The classroom is properly ventilated and has smart board for effective learning, The library has all the books of different categories and students can issue any of the books in respective time. There are many grounds for respective sports and properly maintained periodically.
It’s campus is so big that moving from one department to other requires a lot of time else you can use bicycles. The view of college is amazing. There is wifi facility along big big classrooms and labs. I don’t suggest you the mess food.
So the campus is having very beautiful greenery all around which makes the best nit of india look great. The hostels are although developed but their can be some improvements to make it advanced. I like the mess food.
