If your CRL is 990, you have an excellent chance of getting CSE in NIT Trichy.

If your category rank is 990, you don't have a good chance of getting CSE .

If you are from the general category then  you will find it challenging to get admission to NIT Trichy with this percentile. With 96.5 percentile it is very difficult for general category student to get nit Trichy. If you are from the OBC, SC, or ST categories, you may be able to get a seat there, but branch will still be an issue. Even if you do not get into nit trichy, you can aim for other nits where you may have a better chance of admission.

But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 79.7 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 207669 - 233450 and your SC rank will be around 11k. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

In order to get a seat in NITs, you need to score at least 9k - 10k SC rank, or 85 percentile as per past year trends.
