Hello,

Based on the cutoff of 2018 ,30.67 score was required under general category for physics and 52.33 for chemistry.

Every year the cutoff will vary based on the difficulty level of exam, no of applicants, no of seats available etc.

Thank you!

The
home state quota is the benefit provided to a student during admissions in any
government college in a state or Union territory where they have appeared for
class 12th examination with formal schooling, regardless of whichever state
they actually belong to.

You
must have completed your 11th and 12th education from any school affiliated to
CBSE, ICSE or state board to be eligible for home state quota.

Hello,
If you have an option for IIT KHARAGPUR then definitely go for it as it is considered as one of the top IITs of India. Metallurgy branch has also a decent record there. Go for it and if not possible then only opt for NIT Trichy.
Good luck.

Also modifications happen per year in closing rank as candidates vary and seat positions changes.

Dont worry there ia s way to get a reputed college for your rank in any counselling round here - https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-architecture-college-predictor

A career shines when decision is on time!

Dear Aspirant,
Nit trichy and IIT kharagpur are both top institutes
Rf microwave and vlsi both are good subjects to opt
Both have their own pros.If you have good knowledge in analog electronics, digital then go for the VLSI and if you have good knowledge in electromagnetic theory, antenna communication then go for RF microwave.
If we come in the placement scenario both have same placements almost.but reading in IIT has its own fame.
Think wisely
Thank you
Hope it helps

Hello...

For ECE background people VLSI and Communication is top choice for M.Tech. Since RF Photonics is more about research so in terms of placement you should not consider it.

Last year in NIT Trichy almost all students got placed or got internship offer from core companies like Tesla, Qualcomm . Few of them also opt for higher studies but their number was only 2.

Average package was somewhat between 10-11lpa with highest offer of 23lpa last year.

For better insight of both college you can check these links:- https://dqxeclau.top/university/national-institute-of-technology-tiruchirappalli

Hi Aspirant!

In Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra the General category closing rank was 3869. In Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal for the home quota in General category, a candidate was able to get admission for last seat on 3235 rank. Dont rely on the closing rank as they undergo fluctuations every year for reasons like seat positons and rank achieved by number of candidates.
