Well if you have any interest in computer science and engineering then I would say go for NIT Durgapur because of two reasons.
Firstly it is far better than NIT Andhra Pradesh located in tadepalligudem which is very new and does not even have a permanent campus or ameneties. So don't choose it just because it is familiar or nearby or even because of language issues.
Secondly, NIT Warangal is one of the finest insitutes in the country but if you don't want mechanical then what is the point. Plus branch change would be very very difficult over there and that is a risk you should not take if you are getting CSE somewhere else.
All the best!
No, it's not a wrong step to take civil engineering in NIT warangal. NITs are one of the prestigious colleges of India after IITs . NITs warangal have a good placements records as compared to many others NITs with many more international recruiters . Now if you are looking at decline in jobs and all that it's depends on you to be the best in what you are . But the NIT warangal is a great college if you are still unsatisfied with your decision than it's better to change your field .
Hi Hasini Sai
As per previous year cutoff,
National Institute of Technology, Warangal opening cutoff OBC rank for Computer Science & Engineering is 363 and closing cutoff rank is 660 in OBC quota.

Hello Srinivas,.
Hope you're doing well.
As, the courses you mentioned in your query are really different from each other, it highly depends on your interests. If you're a computer wizard, then you should pursue SCE at CBIT, Hyderabad. If you're interested in the studies of biology infused with technology, then you go for btech in biotech.
However, i'll give you some details about the colleges . nit warangal has a higher ranking if you compare it to CBIT. However, CBIT has a lower fees. nit warangal has a beautiful 238 acres campus which will give you a good college with good infrastructure. Median salary for CBIT - 3.6 and NIT - 9.01 for btech . I would recommend you NIT, warangal (only if you are really interested in biotechnology)

Hello,
As per your choices between civil in NIT warangal or CSE through EAMCET. I'll suggest you to go for CSE department, eventhough NITs are really reputated it's tough to tell you about your chances during placements, But departments such as CSE or IT are the top branches and the placement chances are really high for these.
The decision is totally upto you, if you're really interested in doing civil Engineering then you should go for it but if you're not sure about what to pursue I'll definitely suggest you to go for CSE.
Hope this helps
