Hello there,
Admission to B.Tech programme at DTU and NSIT is based on score in JEE Mains exam and followed by JAC Delhi Counselling . To get CS and IT branch in DTU, with your OBC category, your JEE Mains rank must be around 9k. And to get CS branch at NSIT, your JEE Mains rank must be around 6000, and to get IT branch here, your OBC JEE Mains rank must be around 9000. This data is based on previous year trends and cut-offs for both of these colleges.
Hope it helps.
Hi Sanjeev!
Geoinformatics has tremendous Scope of Employment in both Government and Private Sectors.
In Government, you can apply for jobs in Ministry of Defence or Ministry of Environment. You can also try Natural Resource Management, Indian Agricultural Research Institute and the Meteorological Department.
If you specialise in Space-related applications of geoinformatics, then you have a chance in ISRO and other Space and Aviation related expertise.
In Private, you have Google, Here, TomTom and Transverse Technologies!
Hope this is helpful!
All the best!
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you have got 150+ in jee mains out of 300 and you want to get admitted into bait dtu or IIIT delhi.
So,150+ score is a good score for dtu nsut and if you are from Delhi then you have an upper hand as compared to the other state candidates .
You can definitely hope for good branches in these colleges.
You have to pay Rs. 16,000 one time at the time of admission along with the following fees / semester.
There are two kinds of room offered. AC and Non-AC. Non AC rooms are of three types : 1)Single seated 2) DOuble seated 3) Triple seated and for AC rooms you will have only one option of three seated room.
For BE Students in Non AC rooms:
For MTech/ TRF students:
Along with this you have to pay a mess charge of Rs. 15000/sem.
So for 1 year , the fees is Rs. 16000+ (15000*2)+(15000*2)=Rs.72,000 for a three seated room for BE students.
*This for 3rd sem fresh applicant.
I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know how much you need to score out of 300.
Every year the score changes as the quality of students which appear in every shift is different.
But as per my calculations, you should score a minimum of 230-250 for nit Warangal ,surathkal or other parallel colleges.

I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.
The campus is very big. It has modern and green campus. It has also well-maintained environment with classrooms. It has also hostel facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned amd washrooms are neat and clean.
The campus is very beautifully built and the hostels have sufficient amenities like wifi, reading rooms, badminton court, common rooms, etc. The hostel is also nice and provides good quality food in mess and canteens.
