Dear leaner,

As per your query the ICFAI Hyderabad doesn't seems to have good placement for all btech branches but for cse there is much better and research states only 6 students got placed in cse branch.

But in vit ap which is a new campus having good infrastructure, probably have good placement for students and nearly 700 companies visit ,and 419 offers are placed and they recruited 73 students from campus .

It has best reviews regards teaching too.

You have not mentioned the particular course, because one course may be good at this college or might not be at another college. However, if we compare on an overall perspective ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education is better than VIT-AP University.

The reason being ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education as NAAC accreditation and ranks 32nd in terms of universities in India and is a Deemed to be University. On another hand, VIT-AP University is not yet NAAC Accreditated. Furthermore, if we compare the placement, academic and facilties, ICFAI stands out. So, overall, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education is better.

It’s always works with VIT instead of SRM.

There are different reasons and opinions for that too. Well,it mostly depends on the course you are looking at. But in a overall concern, VIT has a smart infastructure, excellent environment and an internationally recognized university.

VIT AP is better in education but with infrastructure SRM AP is good. Good sports facility in both.

From my personal experience and going along past trends I don't think it is possible for you to get any seat at VIT Andhra Pradesh with the mentioned rank under category 1. Though the campus is new, many students have to turn their directions towards new campus due to tough competition and high cutoffs in Vellore/Chennai campus. Moreover the choice to go with lower fee categories attracts a handsome number of students here. Well you can get few of the seats in category 2 for less demanded courses. As you may know that to get a decent branch their is quite a tough competition. Your rank won't ensure you a decent branch as it's very high. You need relatively much lower rank to grab a decent branch. I would suggest you should attend the counseling session and see if you can grab any other branch that suits your interest. Or, you can give other entrance exams as well to give yourself an another chance. I am sure will ace the other exam. Just work hard and stay consistent with your preparation.

The eligible candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh state can avail fee reimbursement under Jagan Anna Vidya Deevena Scheme. To avail the benefits of this scheme the applicant must get admission in Government or Government Aided or Private colleges affiliated to State Universities/ Boards. This scheme is not applicable if the applicant enroll for admission in any deemed and private universities. Vellore Institute of Technology, Amaravati is a Private University so you cannot avail the benefits of Jagan Anna Vidya Deevena Scheme.

Vellore Institute of Technology, Amaravati is  Private University in Andhra Pradesh. The fee reimbursement is not applicable for the candidates who take admission in Private Deemed Universities. Fee reimbursement is applicable if the candidate tames admission in the following Institutes

• Government or Government Aided
• Private Colleges affiliated to State Universities/ Boards.

VIT, AP is not affiliated to State University or Board. You cannot claim fee reimbursement. But you can apply for merit based scholarship. The institute will notify about the available scholarship for the candidates who get admission in VIT, AP. You can apply for such scholarships. Dear student,

Based on previous year's cut-offs it can be said that chances are less to get B.Tech Computer Science Engineering Core branch or Specializations in Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh in Category 1 or 2. You can try for Category 3, 4 and 5 but you need to pay additional fees along with regular Tution Fees every year, if you get seat in other categories expect Category 1. Fo r admission into B. Tech Computer Science Engineering branch in Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh you must atleast get Rank below 18000 based on previous year's cut-offs for category 1. For other categories the Rank may vary. But cut-offs varies from year to year. Also cut-offs varies from category to category and campus to campus. Cut-offs depends on many factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of students appeared, number of seats available, etc.
