It was fun out there in the campus irrespective of not so good infrastructure. We have well equipped labs although there are no major renovation in those equipments. Library is good and has a good study environment. It has a good vibe to perform discussions and are equipped with a stable wifi with a decent speed of 10-20 Mbps (according to August 2022). The college is overall clean and is established in middle of nature and has a good atmosphere.
The quality of teaching is pretty nice and the teachers are also equally qualified ( not I would say we have 100 % doctoral faculty as said in the brochure and in the main website but the faculty is pretty good and also cooperative as sometimes they can help you with your attendance matters too "if asked politely and have a little bit of genuine reason"). They use updated curriculum and recent researches so that they can update us with recent technologies. They also prepare you well for jobs.
Placements are good and are pretty decents if I compare it with other private colleges in Madhya Pradesh region. We recently have someone with a package of 59 Lakhs from a company name Krypto who was obviously from CSE branch and the college also produced placements of worth over 4.38 crores over a single slot with around 31 students (data according to the official website). Average salary is 8.15 lakhs as of 2022 (data from internet) from companies like Microsoft, JP Morgan , Airbnb, etc.
Yeah I would say the cost is little bit high but thats what you can expect from a private college as they don't get funds from government and also sometimes you dont need to pass competitive exams like JEE mains but you do have to pass VITEEE exam and score good to get good courses. Although the paper cannot match the level of JEE mains but it still tests your basic knowledge in PCM.
Campus life is good and its very much safe for students but I will not say same about their hostels as they tell another story.
5 months in the campus were a little bit of stressful and some of my days only went in doing assignments which is something I would say is normal in Indian engineering colleges but you will get a lot of time if you design your time table well as the college provide you the facility of FFCS ( Fully Flexible Credit System ) and one thing which I would recommend if you choose this college be ready to get a placement mindset as this college strongly believes in that but if you try you can get wyw.
The infrastructure of the college is really good, It have a very large campus area there are 2 boys hostel, 1 girls hostel, 1 Academic building and 1 lab complex building and apart from this 2 more boys hostel, 1 girls hostel, 1 Academic block and 1 Lab complex are under construction and are about to be completed. Everything is well maintained and sufficient for all the students in the campus. The living places are clean and hygienic.
I am currently a sophomore at VIT Bhopal pursuing CSE(Health Informatics) from this college. I would say that the teaching quality of the college is fair, all the teaching staff is well qualified and teaches all the concepts well, and are always there for the students for any kind of help.
Placement quality at the college are good, students gat a good package jobs at many companies that come to the college for placements. The peoples working in placement cell are working hard for the students and also most of the things depends on the performance of the student.
As for the infrastructure the college has 1 academic building, 1 lab complex and hostels( for both girls and boys), and the college is located very far from the city. The whole area is clean thought. The weather is hard to predict, food is so hygienic in hostels.
Currently a second year student pursuing Integrated MTech Cyber Security. The quality of teaching is okay, at last you just have to self study just like any other engineering student. All the teachers are either PhD holders or current PhD students in the campus.
Placements are good at VIT Bhopal that's the perk of being under the VIT tag name, though hardly any internship opportunities are provided on campus as compared to other campuses of VIT. As far as I remember the highest placement for last batch was 54LPA.
The minimum fees is 2.5LPA but well that depends on your rank in VITEEE, the value is worth normally but since 2021 batch still has online classes its not worth it at all from a perspective I believe so.
Regular events are organized by clubs which are good. There is a doctor only in boys hostel, girls hostel just has nurses kind of staff for general assistance. No medical room in academic block. So if there is an emergency you have to take the patient to boys hostel.
As this college is recently built in 2017, as in a very small time this college built very speedily, I'm 2nd yr student of this college and all I can say this is far better college than those which built decades ago. My college have all the necessary infrastructures and some of them are newly built, all the classes, library, laboratories, sports field are furnished properly and few of them under construction. As they are newly built so all are highly maintained. Totally clean and hygienic.
I'm studying Computer Science Engineering and the teachers who taught us highly educated and 100% doctoral faculty. Quality of teaching is very good. from basic to advance level they teach us everything. Our curriculum and the FFCS criteria is very good which gives priority to attendance and study.
Till now the quality of placements are very great and kind of 90-100% placements in each batch. Highest salary package till now is 70 lakh/annum(approx.) as this is new college still it grow in positive way. Average salary they offered in 10-12 Lakh (approx.) (this data may be incorrect, check official site) . The college placement officials are very supportive.
For B.Tech Comp. Science Engineering, it cost 198K per year (for 4 yrs). I guess it worth paying this much fees for kind of good study.
The campus location is very safe for each students, the rules and regulations of this college make student's parent fully relieved. It can handle emergencies as each facility present here in terms of medication, safety, transport(college is far from city but still the transportation is good). All the staffs, students and teachers are very coporative.
I would like to say that this college is good in all terms, it can be anything study, sports, fests, festival celebration, competition, And I can surely say after few years this college and its campus are on top rankings of India's good colleges.
I don't know more about the infrastructure because due to the lockdown, we don't get a chance to visit the university. I came to know about the syllabus and placement from our seniors. This university is really good, and it can provide opportunitiess. But we have to do hard work.
The faculty members are really good here as i Experienced it in offline mode. There are all faculty members, and until this 4th semester all faculty members are PhD holders. Some of them studied from IISc banglore, while most of them are from NITs and state government universities. Everything is online,so the difficulty level of exams is average. The passing percentage is 40% of marks. Teachers are really helpful. Ithink if you do not get admission in IITs, NITs and BITS,then come to VIT Bhopal.
While seeing the campus placements of our university, the highest salary package offered offered was around 45 LPA, which was provided by Microsoft. Top recruiters here are Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, VISA, HPE and Appointy. The average salary package offered is around 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Around 17% of students got a salary package of above 10 LPA in CSE.
The infrastructure of vit bhopal is really great, but under construction so it will better in future.with great classrooms equip with projectors, some of the the classrooms have sofa. There are 4 boy's hostel and 1 girl'hostel.
Quality of teaching is excellent as our college has 100% doctoral faculty. every faculty in our college has PhD degree. Faculties are very interactive and clear every single doubts I am student of b.Tech computer science.
It's raining and placement cells help me and many students like me to get please it in the first phase of placements. Almost every student got please approximately 500 to 700 student got an average salary package of about 425 LPA
I can say it's totally value for money. VIP Bhopal
Campus life is really amazing main thing is that students from all over the country come here so it becomes a multi cultural family. The campus is equipped with a well stabilized gym there is a huge number of social groups and clubs going on.
There is are 2 college buildings: main academic block and a lab complex where all the classes are held in offline mode, 1 girls hostel and 3 blocks of boys hostel. No labs are open to general use unless you get proper permissions for a project for a stipulated time period. There is a huge lack of accommodation space, that is why the whole of 2021 batch is still studying in online mode as well as more than half of 2020 batch. Library has most curriculum books but limited . clean, hygiene yes
Btech CSE Health Informatics 4th semester in online mode, went to offline classes for 3rd semester only. teachers are PhD but mostly okayish teach from ppt while some others are really excellent teachers. Offline exams are good, online is bad. study is good overall curriculum is updated yes. regular events and webinars are created to make us job ready and we are encouraged by teachers to take up opportunities. Overall motivating environment. The level of dedication to work in library is maximum.
Placements are good thanks to the VIT Brand name however not like Vellore campus. skilled students are promoted. the highest package from our campus was 54LPA for last batch. earlier placements were centralised for all campuses to get more companies but not now. now its just depends on the campus. You just have to work hard and not get blacklisted by getting a semester back. And be in good books of faculty for better opportunities.
My fees is 2.5LPA which is expensive but the least VIT Bhopal could offer. I got 19k rank AIR in VITEEE thus got category 1 in Bhopal campus and offered 3rd category in Vellore campus which I couldn't afford. my batch only got to attend offline college for 3rd semester rest all online due to lack of accommodation which makes the fees extremely expensive. The hostels are very expensive too. Hardly any free subscriptions by college Id.
You can't go out of the campus as its very far from the city but most of the essentials are available on campus. there are events every other day which is amazing. you can get OD attendance for most of the events in case you miss any of your classes during that event. Overall there is a good and safe environment. in time for girls is 7pm while that of boys is 8:30 or 9pm. There is a multi purpose hall for sports: basketball court which is used for volleyball and badminton too.
table tennis, carrom board, ludo, skipping rope and gym are there in hostels. table tennis is in Multi purpose hall(MPH) too. There is lab for mechanical students in MPH. Plenty of space to roam in campus. There is general purpose store called Visa Mart and a canteen called Underbelly both are average. Auditorium in academic block(AB) can have 100 people at once. football and cricket only available for boys as playground is beyond girls hostel so girls not allowed.
This university is really excellent . In Academic Block Laboratories, Auditorium, Bank and an ATM Counter and Technology-enabled classrooms are there. To ensure an environment-friendly campus trees are planted across the path.
In academics Vellore institute of technology, Bhopal follows strict rules and regulation. VIT Bhopal follows "Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) ", in terms of course registration by the students. I prefer CSE core is the best branch to persue.
While seeing the campus placements of our university, the highest salary package offered was 59 LPA, which was provided by Microsoft. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA TO 9LPA. Around 30% of students got a salary package of above 12 LPA in CSE.
I have chosen CSE core and it's cost around 2LPA. Overall it's good to take admission here and it's worth the time and money both. All the faculties here are doctorates and for any doubt clearing you can discuss your doubts with them.
The campus life of Vellore institute of technology, Bhopal has lots of fun and learning. Also near to academic block, there is a canteen name Underbelly where you can spend time and having fun with friends.
Experience is good The total campus in a huge area but infrastructure is still going on. Also weather is awesome here except April and May. Availability of unlimited Wi-Fi with a speed of 1mbps (unstable through).
The infrastructure of VIT Bhopal is really great, with great classrooms equip with projectors, some of the classrooms have sofa which is really comfortable (Class Room : 205) , Library here is little small, there is a multipurpose hall for basketball. Most of the new building's are developing new boys hostel and Girls hostel. Wi-fi speed is average can give up to 10 Mb/s speed because they have the limiters in the routers. Block 2 &Block 3 are the new boys hostel they are clean. Cleans every day
I am pursuing B-Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. I choose VIT Bhopal because CSE is available in Category 1 as compare to Vellore & Chennai Campus, also Bhopal is closer to my hometown. Faculties here some of are really great they make you understand the subject very easily, some are not. If you sincerely focused on the class you will get to understand. They follow their curriculum all the time. Here you have the freedom to make own time table according to your convenience.
The Placement of VIT Bhopal is good, every year numbers of offers are increasing. Last Year 2022 a student received the Highest Package of 59 lakhs. There are there types of offer, Super Dream, Dream& Regular.
My college fee for 1st Year was 2 lakh and for the rest of the year is 198K. Well I think this is same college fee for other private colleges. In VIT Bhopal there are five categories in each categories the fee is different higher category = higher fees.
The campus life is amazing with friends, u can enjoy it. There is canteen called Underbelly where u can spend time with friends, order foods, click pictures, the price is little high, But the quality is great. Many Clubs organise events you can participate or volunteer if u are a member.
The VIT Bhopal is Good College, If you work hard everything will be good.
College has poor hygiene, especially in the mess and water supply, there have been several cases of insects in the food and chlorine smelling water. Wifi is poor , hardly 100kbps , maybe after 12AM or 1AM the wifi cranks upto 1-3mbps, because of the people are sleeping, hostel rooms are okay , 1, 2,4 bedded rooms are very tiny , I olny suggest being in a 3 bedded room. The elevators usually stops working after every few weeks , but that's not much of a problem because we have 3 of them.
As an aerospace engineering student , I can't vouch for faculties of other courses, but I can say that most of the professors are nice and most of them are doctors from IITs.The quality of teaching is a little low as the professors will only teach what is in the course, they don't explore the subject or the course books, but I think that is common for all colleges.
College provides good placements as it has a very harworking placement cell. A lot of students hmget on-campus placement, but they are mostly of computer science branch. If you're a good student it's easy to bag a 7-12 lpa package.
My course costs more or less 2L per annum and we have a fully equipped aerospace lab with an aircraft (cesna-172)
Our college has a fun campus life , there are a lot of events every month. ranging from cultural events , club events and college seminars. But the college is located outside of Bhopal in a city called Khotri , which is very far from Bhopal and Indore , so going out is a bit of a hassle , but there are hospitals nearby for emergency. Also, the students are not allowed to go out of the campus , they have to take permission from the proctor and the dean and are allowed to go out once every month.
If one is a hardworking student , they can succeed here very easily, since the grading is relative , there is a lot of competition between the students
Hello,
Yes, VIT Bhopal is offline for the batch of 2022-23. Since the Government gave the order of startinf the classes for Colleges as well in offline mode in January, the classes for all the batches were started as offline mode. The online classes were still on for few months as some of the students were still in the red zone areas such as Maharashtra but since March, every college was opened in India.
VIT, Bhopal also continued their offline classes in January.
I hope this helps,
All the best
